High performance, good bearing, looks great, fairly light weight (~61.5g w/string and bearing)
I'm pretty impressed. This reminds me a lot of magic yo-yo, but in my experience was a bit cheaper than even them (I paid $7 w/shipping). I don't really have any complaints other than the string was a bit short and flimsy, but perfectly functional. This is an unresponsive yo-yo, to be clear, but the response pads are great, it comes easily on a bind even with the thin string it came with. Spin time is what I would expect from any modern, unresponsive, metal yo-yo and the bearing is great out-of-the-box, and concave (like Magic yo-yo, a feature I very much like). Cosmetically one usually has to pay extra for any fun designs. I'm not blown away by the cosmetics, but at <$15 you almost always get a blank one-color yo-yo and this one is kinda fun looking. The finish is not shiny, it's kind of matte, which I believe is a feature for grinding. However, this yo-yo does not have a lip for finger spins and I think is a little too smooth for ideal grinding despite the finish (I'm no expert on that). It's pretty light, about 61.5g on my scale with the string and bearing installed. While this is light, maybe even sub-optimally so, it doesn't bother me much. Most metal yo-yos I own clock in around 65g or 66g, the heaviest I own is 70g. This is not the lightest metal yo-yo I own, but it's close. All that to say, it's a highly functional metal yo-yo with a concave bearing (I love that!) for under $10 and that's always a winner.
