Women's German Dirndl Dress Costumes for Bavarian Oktoberfest Carnival Halloween

I've given this outfit a 4 star as once I'd got the right size for me the outfit was lovely, really well made. But I really should of listened to the reviews about sizing!!! I am a US size 6/8 so I ordered a 38 and a 40 thinking I could return the one not correct (free returns with prime!), The 38 would no where near zip up, the 40 just about would but I couldn't breath, so I had to order a 42! This fits fine, and it really is lovely (I have a Octoberfest fancy dress party to go to) and I'm looking forward to wearing it. My advice is go at least 2 sizes up from your usual dress size!!!!

The costume looks great for its purposes. The fit on bottom is true to size but the fit on top is small. I am a 34 yet the top fits as if you are a 32. Since no time to return and the zipper won't pull up all the way, I have changed the back and sewed ribbon from the top to waist so it looks like it is part of the costume. Purchase one size up; easier to alter.

We ordered this outfit for my daughter's Christmas float. The theme was Joy to the World, and students dressed as people from all around the world. We replaced the top with a long sleeve shirt and sweater (because December outside), and put leggings underneath with black boots. The costume was comfortable, durable, and fit well, and I was able to get it in time for the parade. Great job!

I loved the dress! However once I first tried the whole thing on I thought there is no way this is going to fit. I know my size in European so I ordered what I needed too. However it did seem to run a bit tight. I put it back on for the weekend to wear to festivals. It did seem to fit better that time. The blouse was the one thing that I think could've run a bit bigger. I know it was an easy fix if I needed to adjust the arms with the elastic.

Read the reviews that this item runs small so we measured and ordered accordingly to ensure it would fit; it did not. Order at least a size larger than the measurements suggest and possibly 2 sizes larger than you normally would.Other than the fit, it's a decent product but I wish the apron were shorter so the detailing on the bottom of the dress could be seen below it.

Pretty dress, well mean, pretty embroidery just wasn't the right side. I wasn't fond of the shiny apron or I would have given it five stars. Very pretty Oktoberfest outfit !!

I thought this was a great buy. It is worth more than it's price. I bought the size 42 and I'm a size 10. It was like a glove and gave the true corset feeling and look. One of the best buys I bought off of amazon.
