Way better than duct tape for merch display repair
I had a unique application for this aluminum tape and I wasn't sure it would work, but this adhesive is STRONG and I honestly love this tape way more than duct tape as it's easier to tear and not gummy. This tape is paper-backed and easy to tear with your fingers but also easy to cut to fine shapes with scissors or a razor.I had some merchandise tabletop displays with mini platforms on top of metal rods attached to a wooden base. I was going to use these platforms to display woven & embroidered patches at a band's merch table, but as we were on tour the rods started snapping off the base in transport.I had this tape and a set of L-brackets mailed to a venue (delivered to the dumpster out back so it wouldn't get stolen before the bar opened--the delivery driver called me on the road to ask where to put it). I tore off a piece of this tape and used it to secure the L-brackets around the metal rods where they had snapped off the base, which made the platforms able to be removed but also kept them upright and stable. It looks junky as heck but they stayed on during the whole rest of tour!As a bonus, since I essentially built a new base for the stem of the display I was able to rotate the vertical signage part 360 degrees.

Seals air intake on furnace air filter.
Since there is a gap where my air filter slides in in my basement furnace. This tape I have been using for years to put over that air gap between the filter and the air return. Works great and tested by blowing out a candle while the furnace is sucking in air and no smoke is going into the furnace from the basement.

Strong Tape
This is the same foil tape that my HVAC guy uses on my furnace. I used it on my dryer vent to keep out the mice and other critters.

Okay
Not bad as tape goes. Easy to use. Thick enough to be durable.I bought this to secure reptile heat cable in place. Unfortunately, the tape loses adherence with temperature changes. I keep finding the cables drooping because the tape simply let go in places. Slightly annoying. If you just need it for appearance sake, it’s great. Not so good for use with things that heat up and cool down to maintain a constant temperature in an environment.*(*Reptile heat cables are designed to only heat to a certain level to prevent burning your pet. They don’t reach excessive temperatures. On full-blast, I can comfortably touch and hold the cables.)

Works great
The media could not be loaded. I bought this tape to cover my tumblers' logos before engraving them and it work great. After engraving my tumblers and removing the tape nothing gets engraved underneath where I place the tape.

Performs as expected
This tape is the difference between a portable AC leaking hot air or not. I used this around the input (where machine goes to duct), output (where duct goes to window attachment), and on duct connector pieces to form a proper airtight seal.It adheres strongly but is also reusable in my experience. I have had to remove it and was able to restick it on other areas. You can use to connect two duct pieces but it forms better seal to duct + connecting piece if you end up having to move the ducts around a lot.I recommend using smallish pieces rather than trying to wrap the full length of it around if you haven't used this before so it doesn't get tangled in itself and since it is more rigid than other kinds of tape. E.g., cut ~half or third what you need to cover a surface, then another piece for the rest, etc.

Great for Air Conditioning Vent Tubes!
We had a problem with our portable AC units. The vent tube came apart on both units and we tried duct tape but the heat just made it become unsticky and melted the glue on the tape. So we bought this Aluminum tape that is high temp resistant and it worked awesome!
