My niece really wants a dachshund but can't because of work commitments, so whenever I see something cute and dachshund I get it for her as a 'placeholder' for when she can get the dog of her dreams.This is such a cute and functional item.There's a decent weight to it - this isn't the sort of bottle opener that bends or breaks after a few uses as it's quite solid and hefty. I like that it's so shiny and the length and shape of the back means there's plenty of purchase when in use. It's a great little thing, nice to look at and useful. It's well made with no seams to split and it feels like it will give many years service. I like it a lot.At £8.99 (as at 16 April 2024) I think this is an ideal gift for any dog lover, and would be an excellent stocking filler come Christmas.

It's a quirky bottle opener, if you are into dogs or want a little gift for someone that is then this a nice little gift - good as a little stocking filler or a secret Santa. Otherwise, well, it works! I've tested it on a number of beer bottles and I can confirm it does indeed work :)

This may be a novelty product, but it’s beautifully crafted and would make a brilliant gift for a beer-drinking dachshund owner.It has a great weight to it, which adds to the impression that it’s not just for fun, and has some lovely design details.Most importantly, it perfectly performs its main function of removing the lids from bottles.This will be going in my nephew’s Christmas stocking and, as the proud dad to two sausage dogs, I know he’ll love it!

I won't be breaking any new grounds with this review - it's a bottle opener and it does the job.Having said that, it does the job in style!I am a dog person and enjoy dog paraphernalia. I try replacing items around my house in association with dogs and thus this bottle opener was exactly in line.This bottle opener however is not just cute to look at, it is also really well built and has some heft to it, inspiring confidence in me that it will last a loooong time.At £9, this bottle opener is of course a bit more expensive than a regular one (or you can just use a spoon to open a bottle), however I think this price is more than justified given the craftsmanship and quality.Overall, this is a fun little piece of kitchen equipment and even a conversation starter that will crack open bottles and last for years and years. Throughly recommended!
