Great value and easy to get started.
Bought this for my 10yr old son and he's really enjoying using this microscope. It's pretty much plug and play and I like that it's portable as it lends itself to more frequent usage. I wanted something to pique his curiosity in science ... though he's mostly looking at the sofa fabric and the dog :-) Though I do expect it will be something he will use for years to come. Very happy with the device and how easy it is to get started.

Best present this Christmas
The quality is outstanding. It's light and easy to use so the kid won't be frustrated.I chose this product because it has a very wide range zooming and it really delivered. Also I wanted to have a cellphone free activity, so the fact that it has its own HD screen was on my top picks. The quality of the image is really good. I can't wait to take it to the beach.Even though it's a toy, it's really well made and you have to take it out for airport security just as you would for a laptop.Value for the money is really good

Perfect for the Budding Scientist
Easy to use, just remember to use the focus slide on the side!Comes with glass slides that have things for children to look at too, just make sure you supervise a child with these being thin glass.Love the lanyard & case it comes with too.Very happy customer Christmas morning!

Hand held microscope
Fantastic gift for kids, spend hours looking for things to put under the microscope and lots of learning too! You can take pictures too and recharge, comes with Lanyard to hang around neck and a couple of prepared slides to start you out on

Solved a few problems!
Really impressive. I was able to zoom in , I found mites on a snake (it got sorted) and black lines in my urine. you have to be really still and zoom in multiple times. I got antibiotics. It's cool 😎

Sceptical about magnification but not unhappy overall
This is for a 6 year old's birthday in a couple of months so, on taking it out of the box to check it over, it seems like the magnification is more like 50x-100x. The blurb does say that further magnification is possible but I'm sceptical.On the plus side, I didn't realise that it came with a memory card and can record pictures /video. It also comes with a neck strap and sturdy looking carry case.In summary, it's a decent toy for a youngster without breaking the bank.

Even better than we hoped! Wonderful!
This is a fantastic piece of equipment, and we have all been amazed by what it can do. I bought one for each of our three grandchildren (aged 7 to 10) and they have been fascinated by examining insects, flowers, fabric - everything! All this while holding the microscope in their hand. It’s amazing! My husband and I love it too. The fact that it can take photos and videos is an added bonus. We highly recommend this product. Thank you.
