Breaks down
I really like this crutch very much. I feel like I probably ambulate better with it, hard to say for sure from my point of view. The cap for the end of the crutch may need to be glued on the crutch as it comes off with the top part when you take it apart and or the bottom of the crutch top part needs to be sanded down as it is slightly bigger than the tube.

Comfortable crutch/ cane
Most comfortable crutch / cane. I got this for my hip replacement. The nurses at the surgeons office loved it and a few people asked me for the link to purchase one for themselves or a loved one. My son found the horn and flashlight that’s built in. I haven’t used it yet. I got this for the comfort of the arm/ hand.

Amazing accessibility product -All Terrain Cane
I broke my ankle and required surgery before a planned camping vacation. I searched for an accessibility tool that would allow me to still hobble around camp, get up steps, walk on uneven ground, etc- all that is involved on Adirondack camping. This ergobaum cane did everything I needed it to! The built in flashlight was great for walking to the bathroom at night from the camp site! The "foot" bottom of the cane pivots beautifully and adjusts to uneven ground, grassy areas gravel, and divit "pot holes" in an underground mountain tunnel! I put this thing to the test! I am no light weight. This all terrain cane has a sturdy enough spring on it to help boost me up a very tall nonregulated not ADA accessible steps! It bore all my weight so my ankle remained safely tucked into the aircast boot. The knee rest feature was helpful while waiting on lines. The ergonomic handle is truly very comfortable and sturdy. While in a museum, I used a very uncomfortable knee scooter, and was able to easily fold up the cane to put in the scooter's basket so I could bring the ergobaum 7G with me! The slim design makes it easy to keep near you. The arm strap is handy when you forget that you need a cain and grab something with that hand... with the arm strap on, the cane won't fall to the ground; which is a nice safety feature and prevents you from falling over if you had to grab a regular crutch when it falls to the ground. I truly appreciate very little detail that went into designing this mobility tool. It allowed me to adapt and enjoy my camping adventure without imposing further injury to my broken ankle. I don't know why Ortho Surgeons don't make this tool a standard recovery/mobility tool prescription! I paid full price out of pocket; but it was worth EVERY penny!!! After my recovery, I plan to use this handy device for future hiking trips!

Read this if you are shorter than 5'3"
Comfortable and quiet. It might close to perfect if you aren't short. Here's why it loses a star for me:1) It is supposed to work for people as short at 5'. I am 5'2" and at its shortest, it is still a little long for me. I make it work by angling the handle down to its lowest setting. Not ideal, but tolerable.2) The instructions aren't impossible, but they are frustrating and could be so much better.3) Fortunately, I don't need the knee rest because at the crutch's shortest setting, there are only two height options (vs. many when extended).4) I doubt I'll use the light, but I put the batteries in anyway. Wow. So hard to unscrew, then it was hard to pry the battery cover out (I used the tip of a box cutter), then it was incredibly hard to get the batteries out of the protective plastic case (I had to hit them out from the back), and then hard to jam them into the compartment. I'm stubborn, but if I'd known, I wouldn't have bothered.

Great cane
I absolutely love this cane. I can't believe the difference between it and my old cane. The arm support makes walking so much more comfortable. The tip takes some getting used to, it's great, but I find myself walking on it, often. Only one issue, it doesn't balance when I lean it against things. I believe it's top heavy and pulls itself down.

Inaccurate description
I bought this specific cane because it has knee support but this cane is only made for your right side(my issue is my left knee) and no where in the description says it's only for the right side. I'm very disappointed especially with how expensive this item is

So much better than a regular cane
This provides SO much more stability than any regular walking cane on the market. If you are feeling kind of shaky walking with a regular walking cane, I suggest you buy this. You can purchase two if you're having problems with both legs. This contains a bright LED light that points down on the floor in front of you if you're walking around in dimly lit areas (like a movie theater). I wish I could give this TEN STARS...I love it that much!
