I run the sponge under water until it's really wet, then apply a tiny amount with a feather light touch slowly building coverage. This method does give a blur or eraser effect. If I want more coverage I layer on a heavier foundation or concealer in trouble areas rarely one product will do it all anyhow. I put it only on clean skin, the sponge has a cap and I clean it with antibacterial soap like any other sponge. The coverage is light to medium, finish is luminous, the color doesn't get darker and it is comfortable on my very dry skin. I can throw it in my bag and do my makeup in a flash. My concern is that it will be discontinued, even without the sponge haters, because that's what the industry has been doing lately and the story of my life.
