Eskimo 300472 Ignition Coil PE140F-110 AMP

While not an exact match, this worked as a replacement for the Tunderbay Y43 Auger (post hole digger) I purchased from Lowe's a few years ago.I couldn't find the actual Thunderbay part number in stock at any website I was willing to give personal info to. While searching, I found that there's an Earthquake, and and Eskimo brand auger that appears to be basically the same as the Tunderbay. I guess there's only so many Chinese 2 stroke auger manufacturers. I figured this Eskimo ignition coil would work.This Eskimo coil isn't an exact fit for the Thunderbay Y43, but it's close, ~95%. The coil seems to be made for a slightly smaller flywheel than the Tunderbay, based on the shape, but the bolt holes line up, and it gets close enough to the magnet for a strong spark.This coil comes with kill switch wires, but I reused the wires on my auger. $45 (with tax) is a bit much for an ignition coil, considering the auger was only ~$200 brand new, but it works, and is cheaper than a new auger.Successful gamble!Hopefully the included Tunderbay model and part number helps future Googlers.
