Not accurate size!
I bought these Compression Pantyhose based on a recommendation from my doctor. I ordered a large size based on their size chart, but it is small. I will order X-large to see if it will fit or not.

Not so lumpy, but fall apart quick
These compression tights fit better than most, if you are trying to avoid lumps where the control top meets the tights. I have found it impossible to find compression tights that don't have control top. Thigh highs leave lumps at the top. This enables you to wear skinny jeans/jeggings, or leggings for working out without looking too weird. The only caveat is they fall apart fairly quickly. I've been alternating 3 pairs daily, 2 are this brand and they are beginning to have holes and tears unfortunately. It would be nice if they could come up with a durable pair without control top.

These Work GREAT to keep my ankles from swelling
I have worn compression hose for years and these Ames Walker 20-30 compression have been the BEST I have worn. My other pairs have had less compression so a different type of hose strength. These Ames Walker hose look nice and fairly natural when wearing with a dress and help to keep my LEFT ankle from swelling. My job requires me to stand 12-14 hours each day and these are a life saver.ADVICE: >>>>>>>>Be sure to get a pair of kitchen type GLOVES to get the hose into place. I know that sounds odd, but a lady at a competitor hose company gave me a pair of "hose gloves" (they look just like rubber kitchen gloves) and they really, really help to get my compression hose into place each morning. After I get them settled it is no problem to get them up and down as needed for restroom breaks.

Great post-procedure compression stockings
I purchased these stockings for use after a sclerotherapy procedure. I am 5'8", 155 lbs and I purchased both the L and XL. I am keeping the XL, as the L was simply too hard to put on. I am a young, physically fit person and I was sweating trying to get even the XL on; I don't know how an elderly person with limited mobility could do this. My recommendation is to put a little baby powder on your heels to help them slip on better (the hard part is getting the fabric over your foot; you're home free after that!) Once I did manage to get them on, they work great. They are comfortable, and provide a good amount of compression. The price is reasonable, considering I am only going to wear them for 2 weeks. I opted for these stockings over thigh highs since I didn't want the silicone of thigh highs to press on the injection sites. I'd recommend buying 2 pairs if you are getting them for post-procedure use, since you will need to rotate them (one to wear/one in the wash).

Uncomfortable in the wrong places
Bought these in the same size as recommended by nurse. They were super tight, almost imoossible.to get in. Then the fabric between legs in the upper torso region was sticking to skin in a horrible way. Like poking into skin. Wearing them felt like torture because of that. But my leg area was comfortable. Note I wear a medium in pretty much everything and I ordered an xl.n

Good tights for POTS
I have problems with orthostatic intolerance (POTS) and decided to try out compression tights. These seem to work well - they're my first pair of compression tights so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but they do seem to help. Not a cure-all, but it makes a difference! They're also very comfortable and feel just like a regular pair of tights after getting them on. Getting them on is easy too if you following the directions of putting your feet in first while they're folded over. I think for me personally I would benefit from a higher level of compression, but this was a great pair to test out the concept (especially for the price!). Very durable too - I've worn these around a dozen times so far and no rips, tears, or other problems.

Buy these only if its for dresses and work, they are not the right ones if its for everyday use for support
I did return these, but only because i had bought the wrong style , i was looking for the heavy made ones not the sheers. I need the extra support , these would be great for the office ect. , but i need them for everyday use under my clothes , and these would run in just a few wears ... But if you were to just use these with dress or what ever I would diffidently them buy them Ames is one of the top makes of support stockings and they work very well.

Great compression tights for the price - if you follow size chart you may end up on the too loose or too tight.
Great compression tights for the price. - however if you follow the size chart you may find that they are either super tight or super loose. I found that the size chart though recommending queen plus were actually extremely loose and the top ran all the way up to the bottom of my chest. As always they make these things for the average body size so if you vary from the norm you could run into one extreme or another. I am going to try the queen and see if those fit a little better and will update the review. - K.M.'s Wife.

Toes uncomfortable
The socks offers great support, but the toes are strangely uncomfortable. You get used to it, but the line underneath the toe hurts after a long night standing up.
