Can this be used as a bolt on to the classic uno game?

All the number cards would probably be able to double up as a bigger pack, but the wild cards are unique to each game. It's a great game in its own right, though.

I bought this game in Spain but the cards are made of cheap card, does this set have the more glossy covering on the cards like normal cards?
