This build exceeded all my expectations! It’s a detailed miniature model of the iconic Toyota AE86 from the anime Initial D, and it looks absolutely fantastic. A really cool model of the Toyota AE86 and with details from the Initial D hero car. In terms of build quality it's very close to the name brand building blocks. Some parts do have a bit of clutch issue, but easily fixed with a small dab of Glue. The stickers were of high quality and the manual had good details to help build it. The pullback action is particularly strong and adds a lot of play functionality to it - even though it's best kept as a display set!

Packaging : The set comes in a well decorated box containing two numbered bags, several non-numbered bags, a sticker sheet, and instructions.Instructions : The instructions are well printed and reasonably easy to follow.Parts quality : The parts are of a high quality in terms of fit and finish. The pull-back motors are quite strong, and there are two of them.Set Design : The set is mostly pretty straightforward, with a reasonable amount of detail on the bodywork and some interesting choices as far as the pull back 'lock' mechanism. The headlights having a proper 'fold up / fold down' function is a nice and unexpected touch.Overall thoughts : I like it.

This car is cool. The instructions are "pretty" good with the biggest challenge revolves around depth perception of the pictures. That said, with a bit of effort we got the assembly done.BUT - it is not very stable as we were missing 3 pieces that affect the structural integrity of the car. We were very careful and in one case we KNOW for certain we didn't somehow lose the piece as we had literally just opened bag 2 and it was one of the first pieces needed from that bag.So if Mould King tightens up the QC on the piece inventory they have a winner here.
