KENT Tap Guard Purifier- White

I have been using this product for the last 2 years and got a new one for replacement.Just a few things I wanted to share for prospective buyers so they may make an informed decision :Utility :- Good for homes where hard water/boring water is used and pipes are old and rusty. Especially in Delhi the underground water has a lot of silt in it and I have found Kent Tap Guard to be useful.- Water leaves lesser stains on sink/floor/faucetsCartridges :- Cartridge lasts 4-6 months depending on feed water and use- New cartridges available from KENT for 600/- or so. They are not available off the shelves in open market.- Cartridges usually delivered in 2-3 daysWater Flow :- Needs a good pressure head for water flow since it is based on hollow fibre system. I stay on the ground floor of a multistorey building (with 8 floors) so water flow is not an issue. Water flow does reduce with time as the cartridge starts getting clogged.Fittings :- It did not fit on the Jaquar faucets. I was already on the lookout for a replacement of my old faucets hence I took the fittings along for trial and they fit well on CERA.Overall, a good product.

Good handy water purifier.

1st 2 days it was worked fine next days on words there is no water force its just only drops. Even i cleaned the filter so many times but there is no use.. for 20 liters of water i need to spend 10hrs. As per my experience this is not suitable for municipal (Hyderabad Manjira ) water. And also i enquired for tap guard filter with HYD dealers. Maximum dealers dont know about this product also.

Cant fit it in my watertap, despite so called all pipe fillitings. Washers and fitting screws are not of enough good quality to prevent leakage. So had to use M-Seal to permanently fix it to my tap. Water flow is extremely low for practical purpose. You would need to store filtered water in some other utensils or wait 1 min for a glass to fill. Overall, disappointing, should have bought a storage filter when it is avaiable at the same price.

I have been using this for past three months now. Its very good n does its job well. I had no hard time doing the fitting, did it myself in 15mins. The water is clean odour free and drinkable too.

It's a good product. No issue so far.

When I read the product catalog that came with the item, it says that the purified water is fit for gargling, washing vegetables,etc. Though it boasts about its filtering techniques, no where (in the product catalog or box) it says the water is safe for drinking. I'm not sure if the water is safe for drinking.I had hard time making the item fit on my tap, despite of all so-called attachments.

Waste of money. Got delivery on 9th March. It's 21st March and it has stopped working. No water from the uf filter.
