Q: is the stated diameter the internal or external diameter?

I bought 2 sections of 100 mm chimney and they both fit together, I would imagine it the internal dismeter but I dont know

Q: Is 100mm the diamiter? Can i have some more detailed dimensions

Yes it is the diameter of the pipe and you can get it in lengths of 500mm and 1000mm. One end of each pipe is slightly flared to allow the pipes to join together, so if you require to trim the length to suit make sure you don't cut that end off. They fit together very well and I would advise using a high temperature silicon sealant that is above 300deg centigrade. I found some that goes up to 2000 deg centigrade

Q: Is this ok to use for a wood stove

Yes , I bought it to replace a rusted one one an outside fire pit
