I just got this mandolin and so far I've used it twice. Fingers are intact and there has been no blood!Seriously, I got rid of one I had years ago because I couldn't use it without injury and I've been hesitant to get another for that reason. However, I frequently use an air fryer and I wanted to make veggie chips and such. I couldn't slice them thin enough. I decided to take a chance on this one.Pros: The top sits on a container that catches the food and keeps the blade sturdy. No slippage or trying to balance the blades. So far, the blades have been sharp and the resulting slices have been uniform.It comes with a brush to clear the blades safely when cleaning.The blades can be washed on the top shelf of the dishwasher.The piece that holds the vegetable and keeps ones fingers safe is fairly easy to hold.Handy storage for blades and all the parts fit into the container for easy storage.Cons: It is sometimes hard to get the veggies to stick to the nails that hold it. Also, the surface available on the hand protector is small and some veggies, such as potatoes, have to be cut in half to fit.I'm finding it hard to slip the blades back into their storage box. You have to get it just right and it can be hit or missOverall, I am pleased with this purchase.

Product packaged nicely and new. So many adapters and super sharp blades. I had to get rid of mine due to an accident that happened, just be aware to always use the guard or protective gloves when using...because when I state the blades are sharp...they really are. This is of great quality and would totally recommend and and has the organizer for your blades. Slices carrots with ease.

A little difficult with tomatoes……but great otherwise especially with potatoes for home fries…..easy clean up and storage. Happy buyer !

I like this mandolin. It slices my large onions nicely for onion rings. The waffle blade size would be nicer if it was thicker. The regular blade size that gives thick slices it great for onion rings. I haven't tried any of the other blades yet. I have found it a little difficult to use as you need to use quite a bit of strength to push what you are slicing. Also the hand device use to pierce the food doesn't pierce too well. I hand to make sure I pushed out the metal spikes in order to get my onions and potatoes to slide through right. The little plastic spikes don't grab the food too well. Aside from that I think it's a good mandolin and I like that there is a hand guard.

I have only used the slicing blade, and so far, it has been excellent. I appreciate having a container where you can slice or shred directly into it, which minimizes mess. The product is easy to clean and includes a cleaning brush, along with a caddy for holding the extra attachments. My only concern is that the top is slick, making it easy for a potato to slip away, so please be cautious. Overall, I am pleased with the product and look forward to trying the other attachments!

It’s ok but doesn’t have all the cutting attachment blades I expected. I don’t have the box to return or exchange it or I would.

I use it to make cucumber salad and my health salad. Cut radishes and small tomatoes just fine.
