Book holder
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a book holder. The pegs holding the book up are thin enough to not hinder reading down towards the bottom. The platform that the book sits on is wide enough to hold a very large variety of different sized books. The stand is adjustable based on where you want your book to sit relative to your eyes which is nice. I'm really happy with this book holder, and I primarily use it for my watercolor books as I'm teaching myself watercolor painting currently.

So good I need a second one
This book stand is amazing. I was tired of hunching over the table or holding big books in the air, so I decided to order this book stand. The height and the angle are adjustable so you can find what works best for you.The stand comes with a tool so you can tighten or loosen the bolts if you find the stand is too stiff to move easily. The wood platform is large and would be ideal for holding a cookbook in the kitchen.I read very large books and this one works easily with books up to about 600 page hardback size. My 800 page monsters have some trouble, if they’re hardback or trade paperback. Putting a mass market paperback that big into the stand would crack the spine hard, but those books are lighter and easier to manage. Any 200-400 page book works like a dream on this stand. My husband started using this stand and it’s increased the amount of time he spends reading. I’m thrilled with that so I’m getting myself a second one and letting him keep the original.

Handy book stand
I ordered this to hold source photos when sketching, to display instructions while crafting, or to try as a tilt easel for painting. It's a compact desktop size and stores fairly flat when not in use. I like that it's endlessly adjustable from flat to vertical. I wish the page holders were removable so that the unit was more versatile, but although they are adjustable, they don't go away, which is why I deducted a star. The tips are coated with plastic so I'm not concerned about scratches or anything, they're just in the way of a screen or a drawing or painting project. It seems to be made well. There is some weight to it, so it seems sturdy. The fasteners are countersunk so there aren't any bumps on the surface, but It would've been nice if they were mounted flush making the surface completely smooth. I guess if I wanted it solely as a book stand that wouldn't be an issue, but it's nice if an item multitasks. Overall a solid unit and I recommend.

Nice book stand, especially for cookbooks
This book stand is quite nice for holding cookbooks while in the kitchen. It has page clips to keep your book open to the page you want without closing or moving. I haven't tried using this for reading since it is easier for me to just hold a book. You can also use this as a tablet stand. It is substantial enough to provide support for an iPad or tablet. The stand swivels, but I don't have a need for this feature and prefer to leave it in the kitchen while cooking. It is portable enough to take with you on the go if you desire.

A Very Good Bookstand with Board Made of Engineered Wood
This bookstand looks and feels nice. It can be folded into a small footprint; we can rotate it 360 degrees on its base. It is well-constructed and seems sturdy; to test it, I put a 1056-page hardcover quotation book, weighing 4.1 lbs., on it; it did not budge. However, just in case it budges, the manufacturer has included in the box a small Allen wrench that can be used to tighten the screws in the folding areas. Under “About this item,” its website claims, “This reading stand is made of wood, and struts and base made of high-quality lightweight aluminum alloy. Fine materials make the product feel high-end.” The board of this stand is made of engineered wood, which might be MDF, HDF, or particleboard, none of which is fine material. Wood is a fine material but this is not what this board is made of. The vendor needs to change it to “engineered wood” for accuracy. In the U.S., "wood" is only used for genuine wood. This is a good book stand, which should get a 4-star rating. However, due to the inaccurate description of the material they use for its board, it gets one star less.

Nice display
We homeschool our kids and I needed a book holder for helping to manage our various texts. This has worked out great. My 5 year old is currently working on a countries of the world unit study and we use this to display our primary text next to our globe. It helps to keep our page as well as attractively display the text. The moving parts work well. The tilt can get bogged down by heavier texts and go floppy on you so be mindful of that. Wish there was a way to tighten the tilt. Other than that it's a great stand and we are using it well.

Excellent Stand
I ordered the "Book Stand for Reading, Adjustable Holder with 360° Rotating Base and Page Clips" because reading has been getting harder for me through the years - between a sore neck looking down at my desk to poor eyesight. This reading stand helps with both issues. It brings my books to an angle where I don't have to look down and the pages are close enough that I don't need my glasses. The stand is well constructed and sturdy with a rotating base and page clips that make it very convenient and pragmatic for hours of reading. Overall - I love this reading stand and plan to spend many hours using it.
