I finally found compatible memory replacement for my Alienware Aurora R7 Gaming Deskptop computer
I will keep my review simple and to the point!!!Since purchasing my Alienware Aurora R7 GTX 1080 from Bestbuy 3 weeks ago. I have been on a mission to update my rig with my desired upgrades. First, I replaced the Intel Optane SSD & HD hybrid system which was awfully slow with a Samsung 970 Pro SSD. Results are lighting fast boots, game and application load times. I highly recommend this upgrade if you are a serious gamer.Next, I wanted to replace my gaming rig's factory installed and cheap Kingston Value RAM memory modules. What a task to accomplished. I have done extensive online research, talked to various in-store computer "so-called" professionals, as well as calling Alienware Technical Support and to no avail, I could NOT find the "RIGHT" replacement memory for my computer. I bought and returned Corsair memory sticks (Vengenance 2.4 GHZ & 2.66 GHZ) and they all resulted in incompatibility due to the Alienware's proprietary CAS latency issues (CL 17-17-17), so I attempted the Easter egg hunt approach. I am writing this review so you do not have to experience the pain of having to attempt buying and returning numerous memory sticks."Bottom Line Up Front" (BLUF), if you own an Alienware Aurora and you want to upgrade your system to 2933 MHZ, stop wasting your time and buy these sticks. The memory modules are quickly recognized by the system and they run without adjusting any systems or BIOS settings. I hope this helps.Amazon is great!!! My package arrived quickly!! Two days. I am so happy. Thank you, Amazon for great shipping and HyperX for a great product.

One bad RAM out of two
02/16/19 As far as I can tell, this is the first time I have had a problem with Kingston.SHORT STORY: One of the two sticks of RAM appears to be defective. (2 x 4GB). Computer would not boot. Loads of time diagnosing. Awaiting replacements.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------LONG STORY: Here's what I did and what happened.1. ACTION: I spent a long time finding the exact part number that was compatible with my motherboard. RESULT: This was the only one I could find that was an exact match.2. ACTION: While building the computer, I installed both sticks, one in slot A2 the other in slot B2 as called out by the MB manufacturer (Asrock X370M Pro4) for that RAM. RESULT: Computer would turn on for perhaps 15 seconds, then turn off for about 5 seconds, then repeat this cycle. Nothing showed on screen. I could not get into the BIOS or take any action.3. ACTION: I moved both sticks, one to A1, the other to B1. RESULT: Same result.4. ACTION: I pulled one stick of RAM out (stick 1). RESULT: Same result.5. ACTION: I moved stick 2 from slot to slot. RESULT: Same result.6. ACTION: I replaced stick 2 with stick on in the B1 location. RESULT: The computer booted and ran normally.7. ACTION: I moved stick one in turn to each slot. RESULT: The computer booted and ran normally in each location.8. ACTION: Added stick 2 back in to the system in various configurations. RESULT: The computer failed to boot no matter how stick 2 was added.CONCLUSION: All MB slots function properly and stick 2 is bad.I contacted Amazon and they agreed to send me the exact same product, BEFORE I return the original so that my computer will be up and running on 4GB and to send me a shipping label to return the original parts. This is a very acceptable solution for me. I will update as things progress.NOTE: Normally, this would be a 5 star or a 1 star review. . . either the RAM works or it doesn't. In this case, I'm giving it 2 stars because. . . well, I'm not sure really. I suppose because one of them worked and if I should have a failure down the road I can reduce it to 1 star?I hope this helps someone.

Kingston Fan for Years - Loving the Memories
I have used Kingston products for many years. I have never had a problem with their memory products - reliable and great performance. I am also a big fan of the HyperX line. I am very pleased with this memory. Using in a recent build for my Debian Linux desktop used for home and part time consulting use. Primarily use is office (spreadsheet, documents, and presentations) along with some personal photo editing. I am very pleased with the performance and the cost per gigabyte is very competitive. I also like the look of the memory - extremely attractive in my view. I would recommend this product to others. Build includes Kingston SSD, Ryzen 1300X, ASUS B-350 Plus Prime MB.

Great value RAM for your H110, B150 or H170 builds.
I've been a fan of Kingston RAM for a long time. Never had to RMA any memory of theirs, never needed to return a DOA, and never felt like I was being ripped off (*cough*Corsair*cough*). Their new DDR4 HyperX Fury line is no different from my past experience. The low-profile heat spreader has the HyperX Fury name emblazoned on it, and generally speaking, the RAM looks great in slim-case builds, builds with cooler clearance concerns, builds where tall spreaders just don't work, and really any build where you don't want RAM so tall that you could sail a ship with it.This is the second 8GB stick of HyperX Fury RAM I've purchased, as I gradually brought a tiny little slimline sleeper build up to 16GB. Both sticks have passed repeated MemTest86 runs with no errors. Again, Kingston makes quality RAM, and don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. In operation, they're plenty snappy, even given their low clock. I haven't tried to overclock them at all because, well, my sleeper rig has an i3-6100 and a GTX 750 Ti half-width card paired with a 300W power supply, and I'd rather not set my house on fire. The picture included is one stick of HyperX Fury inside of said sleeper build. Looks nice alongside the black/white Cryorig C7 cooler, doesn't it?Seriously, if you want good quality DDR4 with a heat spreader, this is the way to go. It's cheap, it's beautiful, it lasts, and it will have a home in every build I do that doesn't support and/or need higher-clocked RAM.

Working well with mixed ram..so far
I know you shouldn't do it, but bought this to put in a PC with similar spec different brand RAM, as that one was too hard to get hold of. After putting it in a bit loose and it not working, when I put it in properly (too close to the CPU fan, and the other ram's heat sink was twice as big...) worked fine and clocked to 2400 xmp2.0. the different between 8 and 16 GB isn't massively noticeable in the main, though I don't see the microsutters in games (anecdotal evidence). So far so good, the only down side is a few years back 2016 this would be about half the price, so well thats market forces for you.

Nice Price - good brand
Arrived quickly, well packaged, easy to install, nice speed for price compared to other kits. I have done budget build list and included this product on Amazon which you can search for - AMD Budget build by Cal-M - or if you would like to see a video on three Ryzen builds just look me up on You-tube "Cal-M complete pc budget builds 2019" in search and you will see the logo. Very pleased with this product overall, Ryzen performs well with high speeds this is not the fastest but perfect for a budget build price to performance.

Worked perfectly with RYZEN 5/ MSI X370 Gaming Plus setup
I don't write a lot of reviews, however, after having 2 bricked motherboards and a suspected bricked CPU due to trying to get Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz DDR4 to install, the fact that when booted up, this Hyper X 2666Mhz DDR4 ran straightaway at it's rated speed (technically rated speed +1Mhz!) with no issues whatsoever is a breath of fresh air. I can't recommend this DDR4 enough especially if you're building a system with a Ryzen in it. At £65, it's significantly cheaper than the Corsair LPX too.

Would recommend over and over again
I recently switched to this brand for my current build (My last build used Corsair) I mainly chose these because they were cheaper than others at the time of purchace. I dont regret that descion though because not only do these look beautiful but they are also everything I needed.I slotted it in so easily to my mother board without any added pressure, The added heat spreader is a bonus with this DDR4 ram as it works perfectly as described. It does last as I have had no issues with this ram and I have been using it for roughly over a year now. I use an i9 and a GTX 1080 with these bad boys and I am considering to maybe buy another 2 to get 24GB of ram but it is really not a need for the time being. I would say these are a steal for the price and the quailty of the product.

Works great on Gigabyte Aorus x470 gaming7 WiFi
They work flawlessly on my Gigabyte Aorus X470 gaming 7 WiFi. I have tested stock speed (2933) andXMP profile1 (3466) and both pass Prime95 with no issues. I previously had purchased G. Skill FlareX (3200) that would only work at stock (2400). The PC would boot with the memory at 3200mhz but would fail in prime95. Fantastic memory from Kingston.Update1: Now running at 3600mhz @1.35v.Update2: Have now installed another two sticks of the same memory and can still run XMP profile1 at 3466mhz not tried to overclock higher yet. Passed prime95 with no fails, very impressed with this memory.
