I normally never review any products, but I had to for this one.I have a new flagship phone that was a month old yet gave "moisture/humidity warning" and refused to charge, 2 days before an international work trip so I was stressed. This normally happened in my old phone when I got it wet, and returned to normal after drying. However in the new phone I think some debris may have been stuck, and it did not go away. I tried all the common techniques, used pressurized air, plastic toothpicks, toothbrush, alcohol solution, many rounds of it, nothing worked. I saw this item on amazon, but thought it was not going to do anything different so I skipped.Then I went to the authorized repair location since I had warranty plus insurance, where they tried cleaning again with their tools, but said there was corrosion and they need to change the charging port. Since they didn't have the part in stock I went to another repair store, where they tried a lot more stuff to clean it for a long-time, looked under some kind of microscope and said there is no visible debris and the board probably has a short/corrosion and they need to change it. I went home to backup the phone in case they needed to wipe everything, getting annoyed at hours-long back and forth, and many ten hours worth of backing-up/restoring/re-installing all the secure apps I use for work. And since I was less than 24hrs from my trip I purchased this item as a last resort, because why not.I received the item, looked at the weird flabby plastic port cleaners, thinking it's not going to do anything different than what we already tried and I may as well return before opening it, but I said why not, and used it. Within a minute, to my shock, the warning disappeared, my phone started charging again. I don't know what makes it different than all the other tools me and the service people used, but I've saved hours of my life for repairs and restoring (plus $150 if it wasn't covered by insurance). I wish I bought it at the first day. This thing is magic.

I like this product because I work outside as a landscaper and my pockets always get filled with debris and dirt. This product helps clean my phone out and it can actually charge for once! Great product. Must have for anybody

My phone after owning it for over 2 years started to charge sporadically, I know how to manually clean and inspection ports on phones with the tools I use at work but my cleaning ability on the type-c was severely lacking when compared to the lightning ports on iphones. This is a rather compact unit built with all the tools needed for cleaning out type-c ports safely without accidentally damaging a pin or the internal connector. It did the job relatively fast and I had a stable connection with my phone ever sinse.Sadly I can't say much about it's durability because a week after buying it I lent it out and haven't seen it since.

If you're looking for a tool to clean your charging port a pair of tweezers do better. The tool is plastic and doesn't have the strength to clear debris. The other tools are decent. Nothing exceptional.

I purchased this to clean my phone's USB-C port after spilling some water in it. My phone would not longer detect fast charging cables and would frequently lose connection. Instead of paying the cost to have the USB-C port replaced I tried this out, and to say it was worth the investment is an understatement. The tool covers all the bases for overall cleaning of not only your ports, but the cables, themselves, as well! The guide is very straight-forward with step by step instructions for each tool and whether it may be used for the port, cable, or both. A bit of a warning, while you should be gentle using these tools to scratch around your port, it will still feeling abrasive at times. I assure you that I followed the entire circle of steps and my S24 works perfectly fine again. I definitely recommend this product!
