Q: what is it made out of specifically please?

i would say this knee pad is a high density durable foam product. Unlike the rectangular pads sold for similar purposes, this is more comfortable for me (I have a rectangular pad also). Hope that helps.

Q: how thick is it? feels like memory foam inside the padded?

The thickness is 1.85". It doesn't exactly feel like memory foam as it does not squish under your knees when using. However, it is very comfortable than using without. The ergonomic design transfers the pressure of kneeling into the product to minimize knee pain while stress free acupressure nodes are positioned to take additional strain off the body.

Q: Can this be used in bathtub?

Have not used it for that purpose but see no reason why not. I'd use it for that.

Q: What are dimensions of this item?

My husband found the item very satisfactory. He gardens and weeds etc. on his knees a lot and it helped both his back and his knees
