I was making an award plaque from cherry wood and needed some brass plaques to engrave for the winners - these were perfect for my needs

These are, ok. Thats about the best I can say. These are plated before cutting or stamping so each has the silver aluminum clearly visible on the side. The edges are also fairly sharp showing no post work has been done. While they work, they are as cheap as their price suggests.

These plates are made so well. No sharp edges. Just peel off the protective film and place name on, or use stick on letters. Also screws are very easy to insert! Will order these again!

Perfect for what I needed.

These are not laser marking plates. My 40W CO2 laser caused only minor surface discoloration (and there is no problem with the laser; I used it with actual marking plates right after).I think these are actually meant for a rotary engraver, or are simply a scam. They are not treated for use with a laser, and a 40W laser doesn't affect the surface finish enough to produce legible marks.

Low quality plate and nearly impossible to remove plastic cover. I can see the silver metal under it and extremely cheap. For 50 cents per piece I was hoping that it would add quality to my lasered artwork. This will not.
