Suitable for *all* artists, not age specific! Good variety of mediums.
This is an extraordinarily good value set of paints and pencils, presented in a sturdy metal case. The inside opens up into four trays - there are ribbon tabs on the top trays to help open them out and they do so with ease.Inside, there is a wide selection of marker pens, pencils, watercolours (both on a chalk palette and in tubes), acrylics. oil pastels, 4 widths of paintbrushes, 2 sketching pens, 2 mixing palettes and a sharpener! There are also two erasers - one ‘rubber’ and one which they have labelled ‘plastic’ but in reality is a ‘kneaded’ eraser (you may find yourself playing with this one more than actually using it to erase. That’s because it’s soft, flexible, and can be easily formed and sculpted into various shapes. Kneaded erasers work by lifting pigment - graphite and charcoal - off the surface. Because of this, paper is left undamaged with no smears. The flexibility of this eraser is popular among artists because it can be formed to a point for detailed areas – or whatever other shape is needed. To clean, simply stretch the eraser and fold over on itself - also known as kneading. If you’re working with charcoal, a kneaded eraser is a must!).This set is more than ample for my needs. I’m not a traditional artist, but I am a hobbyist, and this set replaces my old set which had seen better days. This is great value and I’m pleased with it!

Good all round art box
Good range of products including colour pencils, oil pastels, pallets, etc etc. Includes a couple of sketch pencils and would be good to have a greater range of sketching pencils. There are some pens not sure if these are just felt tips or watercolour they stain so make sure you don’t get them on anything as can go through paper. It would be good to have a booklet explaining what is in the box and how to use it eg if it’s just a colour pencil or watercolour pencil. Good sturdy case with lift out lever mechanism for inner trays which is a little wobbly so it sure how long it will stay in tact but serves it’s purpose. A little pricey but overall a good range of art supplies and one of the better ranges for a multipurpose use. Purchased for a 6/7yo who is always crafting.

Great kit for budding artists
I bought this for my Grand-daughter’s birthday as she is a fantastic sketcher but didn’t have a full art kit to expand her abilities. This case fits the bill with its comprehensive collection of paints, pencils, pens, charcoal etcetera. It’s a sturdy case, which is good for kids. This is a great kit for beginners to experienced wether they are young or old.Five stars all the way.

Small compact easy to carry and well worth the money.
This is for my granddaughter for her birthday.She loves drawing and as she will be nine on her birthday it is great for her.She can keep all the things together and not lose any.its just the right size for her but it would be perfect for anybody child or adult.
