Two strikes and they're out!
My Canon MX892 worked very well for 5 years. But recently, it flashed me a message indicating a 'printer error' and advised me to unplug it and see the service center. After doing some research on the internet, I determined that the printhead was at fault and so I ordered one from Amazon. This one arrived quickly, and almost worked. All colors printed correctly except for cyan. I tried the programmed cleaning routines but nothing helped. So I sent it back to Amazon hoping that the second time would be the charm. The second printhead arrived today, and upon unwrapping it I noticed that it had already been used, at least to some extent. All of the jets had ink on them. This unit, like my original one, did not even try to print. I received the original 'printer error'.Good thing that both purchases were fulfilled by Amazon.com. I was able to get a refund both times. So I am only out the amount that I spent to buy new ink cartridges.I am learning to accept the fact that these printers are only good for a few years. My old Epson was no better.If I could give zero stars for this review, I would.

NO MORE B00 ERROR CODE!
Worked like a charm. My Pixma MX882 got the dreaded B200 code. After many many cleanings of the old printer head and following many U tube videos, nothing worked. Bad part, everything shut down- couldn't even scan to my computer. Shame on you Canon! Anyway, after much deliberation about purchasing a new printer, (which no brand stood out with glowing reviews), I decided to try replacing the printer head. Worked great! Very happy to have my printer back. Besides, I had quite a few ink cartridges left and I didn't want to toss them, because none of the new machines use what I have. It's always - new model, different cartridge. They just keep you spending money. Highly recommend trying. Expensive yes, but worth it.

Works perfectly so far
With my MX882, I got the U052 wrong printer head error. My MX882 has been in use for over 5 years - probably 7 or 8, but other than replacing cartridges it has needed zero work. I like this printer, and prefer it over new ones that force you to use factory printer cartridges or replace cartridges every six months. I need the scan and fax functions so it's a good machine for me.So I bought this new head. For the first week, it has worked fine. I see a few reviews on here that indicate problems after about 3 months, so I'll come back and report on this with an update.Pricey print head, but better than buying a new machine with all the constraints from greedy manufacturers.

Wrong item sent
I ordered a printhead for my Canon Pixma printer. The correct part # is supposed to be QY6-0080, which is also pictured in the product information of what I ordered. I recieved part # QY6-0086, which is not a substitute or replacement, it does not fit. It's a little bigger than the needed printhead. I just want a replacement that fits, but that is not an option. My only option is to get a refund, which I hope I get, because I didn't see that it was the wrong part until I went to install it in my printer. Make sure you're getting what you order.

Worked for a little over three months
I received a i diagnostic error on my MX882 printer which after some research led me here to purchase a new print head. Wanting the to ensure no funny business I went with the brand name over the generic and refurbished offerings at half the price. What a disappointment. Much like another reviewer, the same exact issue is occurring for me. Cyan suddenly will not print. If I perform a deep cleaning I will get one 5x7 printed at high resolution before the Cyan just stops. I have performed multiple cleanings, regular and deep with the same result. I also replaced the cyan cartridge which led to the same result. Unfortunately, I am passed my return window and I can find no actual place to contact the seller to see if there is any additional warranty.

Waste of time and money
Wasted $100. Suddenly my two year old MX892 begin expelling totally blank sheets. Tried cleaning, deep cleaning, everything under the maintenance menu. Unplugged and left overnight. Repeated above to no avail. Followed YouTube instructions for cleaning the PrintHead. Replaced all the ink and repeated all the above for several days, over and over and over. Contacted Cannon, after finding my purchase receipt and serial number and registering finally got to a worthless service rep which had me repeat the cleaning, deep cleaning, etc. and gave up. Bought this new PrintHead for the price of a replacement printer and - NO LUCK. Looking for a new, Cannon-less way to print.

old MX882 print head died ("U052"), this replacement one fixed it,
update 8/24/14: Since replacement, the large black ink cartridge has never worked quite right, despite replacing it. Knocking down to 3 stars. I'll have to buy another all-in-one printer.Got the dreaded U052 ("wrong print head") error on our 3-year-old Canon MX882. Tried everything, but nothing could get that printer printing again except this replacement print head. Happy with the vendor because replacement print head works fine. Not happy with the high price - feels like highway robbery. Would have got a new Canon printer, somehow costs less than this print head, but really not happy with Canon right now.

New replacement part
Direct part replacement for my mx882. Fixed the issues I was having with my printer. I know have nice clear and sharp pages again. Guess the print head started to degrade gradually until the black didn't print out. Good thing I decided to just replace the print head, took a chance that it would work as I was happy with the mx882 and didn't look forward to having to replace it. This was a new part, not reconditioned.

Vorsicht bei Canon-Ersatzteilen
Alter Druckkopf hat die Fehlermeldung "U052" falscher Druckkopf angezeigt. Der neue ebenfalls passende Druckkopf hat dieseFehleranzeige nicht behoben. Im Internet wird das Verhalten von Canon vielerorts besprochen.Daher wieder einen neuen billigen Drucker gekauft. Mit günstigen Patronen kann man den Verlust, verursacht durch Canonwieder wettmachen. Werde keine teuren Originalpatronen mehr kaufen.

Druckkopf
Von der Lieferung bis zum Einbau hat alles super funktioniert.Der Druckkopf war Original verschweißt und verpackt. Auch der Hinweis mit der Fehlermeldung war super.Der Druck sieht aus wie neu, wenn das so bleibt gebe ich sehr gerne voll 5 Sterne.Weiter so!

Tete impression Canon MG5250
Ne fonctionne pas, impossible d'aligner les têtes d'écriture, chaque fois il indique une erreur, l'imprimante ne sort que des pages blanche mais les cartouches d'encre se vident !!Après un échange même punition, erreur sur tête d'écriture..... visiblement je ne suis pas le seul, cet article manque de fiabilité.Bref de l'argent foutu en l'air.

A résolu le code B200 sur une canon MG 5350
Fonctionne parfaitement et a permis de résoudre le message d erreur B200 tout en ayant essayé préalablement les solutions pour y remédier sans succès.
