I loved this!! First of all, I saw what it contained on the description, and it didn't show any gloves -- I was pleasantly surprised to find the gloves when I opened the box. Secondly, I already have one, and though I really like it, it's flat with raised ends to pick it up, which is okay, but I need to put it on a cookie sheet, or a baking dish/pan in order to keep the juices from going all over the place. With the base being bowl-shaped, I don't need to use the sheet or dish to keep the juices in! Thirdly, I love the small round disk/tray to keep the meat above the bottom of the base. The three sizes of the skewers is great, and the small nuts and included wrench are great for making sure that the skewer stays on tightly, as well as making it easier to remove the skewers when you're cleaning up. The two included brushes are great for basting the meat! In short, I love this thing more than I do my old one, and I'm going to order another and give my old one to a friend or family member!

I used this for making chicken gyro. I plan to use it for pork as well. I believe it’s a great way to marinate meat that you pile up on this for the oven. My only thought to users is that despite getting a great charr on the exterior portions of the meat (that is exposed to the oven heat), once you start slicing it away, you realize you need to put it back in for more charring on the cut meat still on the metal. I plan to still use, slice all the meat and put back in over for broiling to get that yummy char on all that meat. Love the accessories that came with my order.

Not all of these have the grease catcher. It really makes a difference. We use this all the time for gyros. Easier to clean than I thought it would be.

I got this to make lamb gyro meat and it worked excellent! It's a nice size (not too big) and was easy to assemble and I appreciate it disassembles for easy storage. I was extremely skeptical of other reviewers that this would be easy to clean because of the material but I was astonished when it wiped clean with only light scrubbing after a long bake in the oven. I would definitely recommend.

This set works incredibly well for making chicken shawarma in the oven. It was also easy to clean afterwards and the chicken came out tasting amazing! The fact that you also get 2 silicone brushes to baste with is an insane value considering this was already a cheap set to begin with!
