Vodafone V-Auto - Product

Contract with Vodafone costs £4 mph and device does exactly what I had required. Only been using for 3 days but no issues. During set up the email code took a few minutes to arrive resulting in me re-requesting and having to restart. Some of the driving alerts are not entirely accurate, for example the system thinks that a 40mph limit exists for at least 100 mtrs into a dual carriageway close by when the road (and I have checked) is clearly marked as 60mph and therefore every time shows excessive speeding when travelling just under the actual speed limit. Not sure how insurers use this information when it is clearly incorrect.

Poor V Auto app - Car's current position not shown until you've driven. Any time any errors occur or it can't pick up the signal, it asks you to drive before it can locate (what's the point? if you're trying to locate where your car is from another town or city and it says drive first before it can show you anything at all!). Setting up an account with the 'V by Vodafone' app is also an absolute nightmare.V Auto is amongst the buggiest apps i've seen to date and the maps are also not very detailed even after zooming well into the location of the car or any other location.

Good piece of kit but app lets it down. I get logged out after about 10 days and you need to get a code by text to get it up and running again. I work where there is no phone signal so app Carnot be logged on until I get a signal. It does store the info but I loose the real time monitoring. A real pain When you’re trying to monitor staff.

Great tracker, easy to set up just scan the bar code plug it into your car and follow instructions on your phone, well worth the money.

It doesn’t work!! Before you can use this device, you need to register the device on the Vodafone website however it won’t work and errors when trying to register and says you need to speak to Vodafone.Spoke to Vodafone who don’t have a clue when the issue will be fixed. Depending on who you speak do, some of them don’t know there is a problem!I initially purchased this device a few months ago but sent it back when I couldn’t register it due to a database upgrade issue which I was informed had been resolved!

nice little tracker, it works on the car, even it is not in the approved list, software is a little bit shacky, but it does eventually work, and good price as well. Halfords and other retailers sell it at the RRP of £85

Great product very accurate and piece of cake to set up to put your mind at ease about your car, the only draw back is that it was only after purchasing did i realise that the car this was put into wasn't supported during registration so have had to botch my way through the registration with a different vehicle, still works fine but that's what lost it the star. If you car is supported i'd say a definate 5 star

It is very hard to set up which take 2 hours and app is very slow not great . Wouldn't recommend
