I have not replaced the coffee grinder we had over the last 10 years.i bought this one because it had a course grind for ice coffee. Very nice grinder..and comes apart for easy clean and use.

I love the settings on this thing, it has cup settings (for how many beans you put in) and coarseness settings. I mess with these a lot to get the right consistency I want. The only reason for 4 stars is the coarseness settings are somewhat negligible. I notice a difference between 1 and 4, but not much between 2 and 4 or 1 and 3 (if that makes sense). I wish there was a way to get a more coarse grind, and the grinds seem a bit too fine.Anyways, it's small and pretty. Doesn't take up much counterspace. It's reliable and fast. A little noisy but not overbearingly so.

This makes cold brewing coffee so easy and no glass container to risk breaking. I would choose this product over more expensive products due to its ease of use.

This is a great coffee grinder- wife bought me an espresso machine for Christmas last year and this thing is a great companion to that- the wife still prefers regular coffee- this grinder does both grinds as well as a few between- now we always have fresh ground coffee and life is good

Works well making the coffee, but mine arrived without the twist part that seals the grounds tube. Nothing I can't work around as i don't shake it or lay it on it's side, just have to be careful with how much coffee grounds I put in that it doesn't overflow when wet. Otherwise, it makes good cold brew coffee.

This is an update to my original review. After barely 4 months, this grinder died today! VERY disappointed. since as I noted previously, the other old one I replaced just like it lasted 6 years. This was either made with much less quality and/or it sits in a warehouse with no corrosion control to the environment. Please beware.Original: Bought this as a replacement for the grinder I had just like it (under another name, but same design) that lasted 6 years. It does a great job with coffee beans and spices. I've even ground nuts with the old one with no issues. Hoping to get close to 6 years out of this new one too!

Nothing to dislike about this grinder,I like it and easy to use and clean

It works fine. The different settings are true to what's described. The only thing is that trying to get the coffee grinds out makes a mess and the cord is a little hard to pull out. Makes noise but it's expected. Should be a scoop to come along so there's less of mess to get into the coffee machine.
