Nice packs
I ordered these for my husband's lunch bag. I thought the small would be too small so I ordered the large. They are a little big for his bag but fit with some manipulation.

Good stuff
I used these packs on an international trip to SE Asia carrying perishable goods (salmon). The transit time was over 28 hours long and these packs managed to keep the contents frozen.

Frozen!
These are awesome. They are bigger than I wanted but wound up working out. Pack is still mostly frozen at the end of 8 hr day.

They did stay cold for a while. I wouldn’t say 12 hours, but they were too big.

Using it for injuries
I work with teens and there are always some sort of bumps or bruise which needs ice.We have a small fridge that I put these in and they give a nice chilled pack for the kids to use. We can then rinse them off and return them to the fridge for the next use. Much cheaper and handier than the crunch ice packs.I did keep one back to use as a lunch box cooler. It works great as that too, but I really appreciate the convenience of them in the fridge.
