The plastic Mount seemed a little flimsy, and didn't have a tighten up seal with the Plastics screw on the back. I actually had to use a different one from a different stand to get it to hold. I really don't recommend you get this if you're using it for a tablet or a good size portable monitor. I'm still using it until I find something better but my fingers are crossed.

This is an unboxing, because I decided to change using a vesa mount and just removing it and installing a camera cheese plate to my monitor arm. This Kado vesa mount kit is the one you want of all the various various that Kado sells. The reason is this kit comes with all the accessories you need from the mounting screws to the 17mm socket. The ball socket is not provided. With this version, if the ball socket is not required, it comes with a threaded 1/4" screw hole. It appears to be a PEM nut that's installed. I reached out to Kado and they confirmed this is the Steel version. There's a similar version that's aluminum (Amazon product ID B0DCK19HZS ). I also appreciate that they provided a spare ball socket holder. If you need a VESA to ball socket or 1/4" screw hole mount this is the adapter to get. This kit is just slightly more than the other variant that doesn't come with the ball socket accessories.
