The TelCo's have always liked to do their own thing. There are the plethora of ethernet patch cables, the occasional "crossover" patch cable (which many switches will auto-compensate for), and the infernal "T1 crossover" cable the TelCo always needs to connect to their premise equipment. Nicely, they include one. And it's WAY too long - I really only need 3-5', so why retain all that extra cable? Shielded, just in case they want to point fingers at their non-included cable.

Arrived defective. I wasted a week screwing around before we discovered it never thinking that a brand new professionally made cable would be defective.

If you need to transfer data from one computer to another, this is a great cable. It saved my life when my old computer was getting ready to crash, I hooked my new and old computer together and transferred all my data in one afternoon. Saved!!!!!

Works as advertised. Better than I could make myself. Just what the doctor ordered if you need to connect T1 modules together.

We needed to go from carrier Cisco router to our Cisco router for PRI connections. This worked great as a T1 crossover was required.
