I like it it fits verse snug,easy to use, leakage proof,now for the versatility of it I'm not sure it's really hard to get off so I wouldn't say that you can reuse it you probably could but the get in the same use of it as you did the first time around may not be the same and maybe loose due to the way you have to take it off but I do like the fact that it has the resealable plastic that falls into the container wants you you know once you put it on your water cooler which depending on if you have an upright or you turn yours upside down will depend on if you're able to utilize the top again because you can take the plastic piece and put it back on but I'm just feeling like it's a one-time use type of purchase at this time I'm about to go and fill it up so I will give it update to let you know if it works again as a reasonable option. Performance is great versatility not quite sure and their appearance,I love the way it looks

These caps latch on great and fit well with the water pump I used for the 5-gallon barrel I used. The only downside I found was that these are not reusable at all. I had to tear it off in order to reuse my barrel and tearing it off wasn't easy since the plastic is fairly thick and the small tab to grip onto is small. I had to use pliers just to get it off. It isn't a huge issue since the package comes with multiple caps, but still disappointing. This is why I gave it four stars.

These work great on my Primo bottles. Turns out Glacier (a water dispensing firm) is owned by the same company as Primo. So, I can take my old bottles and fill them for $2, or I can return and replace them for about $8. Takes a little more time and effort on my part but it's worth it. These caps are perfect for these bottles.Removing them can be a bit tricky, and if you do it wrong, you can damage the cap...so get you a coffee cup, put about half a cup of HOT water, and put the cap/neck of the bottle down in it. Let it sit about 5 minutes. Then take the end of a teaspoon/tablespoon and insert it into the hole in the cap, and pop it off. Hasn't hurt my caps yet, once I found out the secret.Bought a second set to finish out the bottle collection and have a few spares on hand. Highly recommend if you're refilling 3- or 5-gallon water bottles.

They go on tight like the capped bottles you buy already filled, but they ARE NOT LEAK PROOF! They'll keep water from splashing out but they will dribble if bottle is tilted or layed/stored on it's side. The center cap is removable and after I figured out my local refilling station water stream would go in the hole without splashing all over the place I just leave it on. I use an electric pump that fits the top of the 5 gal bottle with a tube that fits nicely through the hole when snap-cap is removed. Great for transporting bottles in car to the refilling station.Removing these is as futile as the originals on new manufacturer sealed bottles. If you use a system as I do noted above these are great. If you need to remove them every time you refill, then either buy a boat load or look for something else as these do the basic job... sort of.I'll likely buy another set for health reasons to replace the ones I currently use once I've torn the last one off to sanitize the bottle tops for GP. YMMV. A little pricey to throw away every time you refile, otherwise they're great used as noted!

Great covers for 5 gal jugs

I never leave reviews but this product is just not working as it states it should. I bought this because I got a stand for my water jugs and the reusable lids I was using before did not keep it from leaking when turned sideways for the shelf. The sealable hole in the top was a plus for my dispenser. When they arrived, I found that 1. The only way to open the hole in the top for the dispenser once the lid is on the jug is to push the seal down, and then it pops off and falls into the water, 2. Once you’ve opened the seal for the hole in the top once, even when you seal it back it leaks so the lids are only leak proof until you have to use the water, then I guess the lid is useless, 3. So I thought I’d just not use the hole in the top and remove the lids instead for the dispenser but found that the lids are almost impossible to remove from the jug without destroying them (even using the back end of a spoon or fork as directed).Overall just very unhappy with this purchase and now cannot even return it because I had to cut one to get it off the jug.
