Stunning deep vibrant colors
These are great pencils, I bought them for adult coloring. They layer easily and I can create some very vibrant colors with these pencils, almost like felt tip tens, they really are that bright and vibrant. These are so versatile because they layer so well, you can easily create beautiful pastel shades or deep intense vibrant colors depending on how many layers you add. I have to say for the price I paid, and I got them when they were on offer, they are hands down the best value pencils for price versus quality available in the UK today, even at full price they are worth every penny.

Brought these used. But these makes the pencil addict in me very happy
I brought these because I heard some rave reviews about these pencils and I wanted to try some (plus Chinese made art materials are pretty good quality these days). For less than £15(usually £25 for the set (16p per pencil)), which is a really good price for a humongous 160 set (about 9p per pencil). These pencils don’t have the best appearance like my artist pencils they look more like crayolas, maped & Prismacolor pencils. However, they are bright, soft & lovely to use. I have brought these used with the damaged packaging, most of the pencils were in good condition (brand new), very few had slightly broken leads. When I tested a few they’re almost as good as the artist grade pencils out there. But they are better than most student/scholastic grade pencils. The metallic pencils are more like glitter pencils though as they don’t shine as much as my other pencils.I haven’t sharpened these just yet, but I may edit my review, when I doI think these a pretty good for budding, amateur or even professional artists & colouring book enthusiasts.

Break easily, not great at sharpening, but a lovely array of colours!
Not the best pencils, but there is a lovely array of colours. Some tips constantly break, and need sharpening over and over, until a strong nib is there, meaning they're now more 'appropriate for a toddler' sized pencils. Others are lacking in pigmentation, and require several 'layers' to achieve the correct colour. The metallics don't sharpen to a point properly, which is fine for some people, but I like to get into the corners. Some of the pencils are brilliant, but not worth the money I paid for 160 pencils. On a positive note, they are strangely good for blending, which is something I require.Would I recommend them to others? Not really, unless they are for children, or for adults that are just starting out on the wonderous journey of adult colouring.

Absolutely love them
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I was looking for a good set of colored pencils to use for my coloring books. I suffer from anxiety and depression and coloring can really help me destress and just enjoy life a bit. These pencils have been great and the colors are very nice and vibrant. I don’t know if you would consider them to be the same quality as hi end colored pencils but these have been great for me, and the variety of colors is great to. Wish there was some pastel colors but other wise this set is great. I would not suggest keeping them in the case they come in though, it is not very thick and doesn’t keep them very safe. I only had three with broken led’s when they got to me, and that’s not so bad given how many there are of them. But for long term I suggest getting a case to keep them in. I bought one from amazon that holds them all and it has been working great.

Great all rounders - stick with this brand
Best colour selection and I’ve used lots of brand. Great to use for any kind of colouring but make sure you have a decent sharpener.
