Listing claims led color is 5000k and elsewhere 4000-4500k. what is actual color of led?

Not sure the exact color, but it is very white, so I'm guessing closer to 5000k.

It's an LED light. No bulbs required. If it burns out, you replace the whole unit.

Base width? Needs to go on the Bimini top, mounted to the square tubing

The base width is about 1.716" x 2.522" long. The ends are rounded on the long ends. The mounting hole pattern is 1.188" wide x 1.72" long. I am a machinist and made my own bracket to mount this on a 1" round tube. If you are going to mount this on a square tube, you'll most likely need to make a mounting plate or bracket to attach it to your square tubing.

Does it fit a biminie top

I put mine on a Bimini top but could only use two of the four mounting holes. I think a couple of U-shaped brackets would work great, but the base is solid enough that a pair of metal screws will hold it solidly in place.
