At first they appear to be heavy and the leather part of the sole very stiff but still felt comfortable. Then after walking in them for a while did not notice the weight anymore and the sole molded to my feet and are now just perfect.

As expected from Dr Martens excellent quality, bought them for my girlfriend, she loves them.
