Got this for a photoshoot (at least that's my excuse) and it photographs very well. It cast good light, was very bright and it's pretty convincing as a Vader lightsaber. Only under close examination would you see differences.I'm not a huge fan of how it functions (tap to extend the blade but have to press and hold for a very long time before it retracts unless you master just the right twist motion) but that all seems to be fairly standard among the higher end lightsabers. The motion and sound functions are crazy cool. It has a ton of settings but even on the default Vader mode, it legit sounds like a lightsaber.I've seen nearly identical sabers going for almost twice this price. Since I'm sure they're all probably made in the same factories over seas I'd say for the price, this is a good deal.

Great lightsaber, especially for this price. Already had a Luke (Anakin) & Obi Wan from this company. Normally these are $400. 12 (at least) blade colors and sound fonts. This Vader saber almost completes the family collection. Just need a Luke saber now. Highly recommend these sabers.

I'll start with the great. Overall the hilt is beautiful and feels like good quality. I purchased the SNV4 version. The saber is bright and looks awesome. The sound quality is good (more on that later).-(The not so good) There are no instructions on how to disassemble this hilt, so I had to figure it out myself.Unscrew the bottom half of the hilt.There's a long grub screw behind the switch. Run this grub screw all the way out.Depress the switch, and the internals can be removed.There's a slider switch above the main operation switch which must be slid to the on position for the saber to function. This also must be done to access the battery, if you're like me and prefer to charge your batteries in an external charger or just want to swap out batteries. Now that you know, it's not so bad. Some simple instructions for this specific hilt config would have been nice. Moving on..-Sound quality - The sound quality is solid. My suggestion would be preload more than just Rogue One Vader. ESB or RoTJ Vader. Guess I'll be finding those sound fonts and adding them. The app leaves a bit to be desired but it's functional.-I can't speak to how durable this is going to be for heavy dueling, because it's more of a display/show off collection piece. It looks pretty solid, and feels pretty solid.-Overall Value - I'd say the overall value is really good considering how expensive these things are. Lesser quality and baselit RGBs go for a lot more money. Besides my gripes listed above, I would say for display, cosplay, and maybe some light dueling it's a score. You're not going to be displeased.-Shipping was fast (it's Amazon) and packaged well.

I recently received the Darth Vader lightsaber from Saberforms, and after fully charging the battery, I was thoroughly impressed. The saber is loud, bright, and performs exactly as I hoped it would. The metal construction feels solid and sturdy in hand, with a satisfying weight that adds to its authenticity. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and makes a fantastic addition to any Star Wars fan’s collection.

Was torn between this or the black series darth vader one. This is less than half the price with the coupon I used. Amazing quality and easy to learn the motion controls. My 7 year old son absolutely loves it. Being able to do 12 colors and having the background music is really nice. You can also set which type of lightsaber sound you want. From the dark saber to each jedi and siths own lightsaber sounds. Worth every penny. Perfect for a responsible 7 year old to hit things with and fight. If you are a parent... buy 2. Trust me. It's a ton or fun.

Excellent quality dueling saber for the price point. The heft feels good in the hand and there's nothing too obtrusive that makes it awkward to hold/spin. The app is relatively easy to navigate and paired to the saber easily.

Great product overall. The only complaint I have is that when you change a setting, such as increasing the volume, and the device provides an audio acknowledgment, the voice box cuts off the beginning of the message. So instead of hearing “Volume up,” you only hear “olume up.”This can be a bit frustrating.

There is a slight discrepancy with the product. Quality control can be better. One of the pieces is not attached correctly and me being a protectionist it stands out.
