I give 5 stars because it's a £120 rack. The spotter bars are solid steel. Unless you go dropping 200+ kg barbells from 1m above the spotters, I am convinced this rack will easily go to it's rated 225Kg load and beyond - enough for my squats for probably forever. It's a shallow rack - doesn't take up tons of space in my garage.The rack does have a little shear movement when doing pull ups, but I didn't tighten the bolts too much because I wanted to avoid compressing the square cross section of the steel.I've added some storage bars and dip attachments made by MiraFit for £10 and £15 respectively, and very happy with the ergonomics.

Superb squat rack.
This is as good as any squat rack I've used in any commercial gym. Absolutely superb quality and very very strong.Took me 45 minutes to assemble with a socket set.I bought number stickers to number the holes 1 to 21, this is just a personal preference.The safety pins and bars are solid.If you are thinking of getting a home squat rack, you need not look any further than this one.Buy it.

Cant beat it for the price, In my opinion better value than ones twice the price.Even with paying £50 for delivery to Ireland it was still cheaper! Very strong, perfect size for a home gym. Easy to put together too.

I love this thing. Assembled in my workshop so my man cave is now also a gym that I don't have to drive to. The bench and cage was the only reason I previously had a gym membership and this thing will pay for itself. I chose this one after looking at the price, size and capacities of the various cages out there. I wanted the cage for safety more than anything else and it has already helped me out in that regard a couple of times in the last few weeks. I got some extra dip bars which fit perfectly and if you get hold of some Olympic Rings there isn't much need for anything else. I got the one in black which looks good, but do bear in mind you might knock the paint about a bit with use; if that bothers you, I'd check out the silver metal finish.
