Setting the angle between the two sections is best done on the ground as it is difficult to manage the weight on your own if trying to do this with it on its base (follow the instructions!).Time will tell how durable it is.

Rubbish product
Bought the 15 feet ladder- tried it and ohh my gosh it was so wobbly that I almost fell off after climbing 5 feet. DO NOT BUY THIS PRDOUCT AS YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CLAIM REFUND FOR YOUR POSTAGE. STAY AWAY FROM IT TRUST MY WORD- if you buy this a brain injury is inevitable
