Great quality
I bought this box to replace the ancient/tiny AT&T box that came with my home (made for 1999 technology). I love how much space I have in this thing. The plastic won't kill wifi signals like the metal boxes do, and I'm not worried about the material, as it's a nice high quality, thick plastic. If I have any complaints, it's probably about the accessories for this box. They're a little expensive for what they provide. Also, the plug system that Leviton uses is very frustrating to work with. It holds fine, but getting the plugs in and out without breaking them is often frustrating. But I end up just using 3M command strips and/or zip ties to hold things in place. The only other thing I'd change is to have the option for a larger box. They make larger metal ones but this plastic one doesn't really have any options that I've seen.Since installing this in my home, I've installed it in a dozen customers' homes and it always gives a nice professional look.I had one shipping problem where a corner was broken, but that was because of the shipper, I'm sure. This box is great and the best I've come across.

Very Durable, No Drop in WiFi Signal
-This enclosure is EXACTLY wide enough to fit between 2 standard wall studs. Very tight dimensions, so no room for error in framing-Very Durable: The wall studs inside the closet that I chose to locate this enclosure just happened to be slightly narrower than 14.5". I had to shave the studs down a little to widen them enough to fit the enclosure (please note, this a is non-load bearing wall). I would shave the studs down a little, then try squeezing the enclosure in, remove the enclosure, shave the studs down more and so on. After about 4 tries, the enclosure finally fit. I was being rough with the enclosure, but the enclosure did not break at all. It is tough for being plastic!-No Signal Loss: Our WiFi internet is very fast. I was hesitant about moving the router into a wall enclosure (instead of 19" rack), but since the installation, I have not seen any drop in Wifi internet speed or range.-Nice wide door to hide any rough edges in the wall opening.-I’m looking to add the black push in pegs to mount components. The pictures are just what I have so far.

Good enough. Accessories are spendy, but you dont need them
I dig it. We recently had all our walls opened up, and I figured I would wire the house with Cat6. Terminated the network in this bad boy. All my network components fit in the wall, now, and I love it!Everything is mounted with 3M industrial Velcro. Just make sure both surfaces are clean with alcohol so the Velcro adhesive stays. To use the Leviton power supply, you have to cut out a hole for that since it does not have punch out templates for that. Since only one of my components take the plug for it, I would probably just install a pair of standard plugs instead if I had to do this again.WiFi signal is great throughout the home, as this is basically dead center of the house.

The RF structured media panel is great. I also purchased the Leviton 47605-DP Double Duplex AC Power Module with Surge Protection and it does not fit into the pre-formed cutouts in the structured media panel. I had to drill a couple holes the media panel to get it to fit. However, it is relatively easy to drill additional holes in the media panel. The screws included with my Leviton Double Duplex Power Module for attaching the cover to the housing were the wrong size. The screws are a thread-forming screw and not a part that is stocked by local hardware stores. I'm not sure if I received a defective power module or if it is a design flaw. Either way the duplex power module is way too expensive to not work perfectly and be 100% compatible with the structured media panel out of the box. I will update this review with additional details once I find a way to install the power module in the media panel.Update: I used a tap to cut threads in the housing of the Leviton Double Duplex power module, bought 4 machine screws to match the threads I cut, drilled 6 new holes in the structured media panel, and was able to install the power module. Successful and neat install but lots of hassle and time required to make it work. Leviton should state the Double Duplex is not compatible with the 49605-30W Transparent Media Panel.

Perfect for hiding Comcast components
I am remodeling a condo with only 400 ft2 to play with on the main floor. Yet I still want 5.1 speakers; Ethernet sockets for gamers; wireless; HDMI to the main TV; and coax to the bedrooms. So I created a wiring closet in an existing small closet... and this Leviton transparent enclosure is perfect. It is large enough to hold the Comcast powered coax splitter, DVR and wireless router (see picture). They are held in place by using Leviton's "push pins" as a shelf and Velcro straps that I provided to keep the components snug to the back wall. I used a Dremel to carve slots for the straps in the back wall of the enclosure. Of course I still will have a 5.1 A/V receiver and a Blue Ray player external to the enclosure... but this unit carries a big load. Thank you Leviton.Enclosure explanation: Upper right corner holds the powered coax splitter (screwed in place through the plastic enclosure into the 2x4). Upper middle is the Comcast wireless router. Lower area is the Comcast DVR. Two Leviton AC outlets at the bottom of the enclosure have not been added yet.

Not too bad - the cabinet installed pretty easily
Not too bad - the cabinet installed pretty easily. The cabinet door is mountable on either side, so for my application, I have it opening to the right hand side.I also opted for the regular Leviton electrical outlets that I picked up at Lowe's for $2/ea. The opening for the outlets had to be slightly modified for them to fit. Basically shaved down the sides in order for the boxes to slip right in. Will be looking into a separate surge protector.I provided a handful of photos to give you an and idea of how much space there is. I've gone ahead and started mocking up the layout of my hardware which will include: router, modem, patch panel, 8 port switch and an external NAS drive.... still not finished but it's coming along nicely.
