Not too oily and an established British company
Suitable from birth, I ordered this baby cream for my grandchild who’s only a few months old and already suffers from eczema. The traditional medicated cream is good however not easy to apply as it takes a long time to absorb into the skin. This cream on the other hand is much thinner and absorbs quickly. The other advantage is the pump as it helps in administering the right amount - just one pump will suffice. It’s too early to vouch for its efficacy. It does however leave the skin hydrated and not too sticky or slimy which is what is required from a moisturising cream.Great moisturising cream from a company that has been supplying creams such as this for decades - and at a reasonable price.

Work without making a mess.
I tried this cream on my baby's dry arms and legs, and it instantly made the skin feel softer. It didn’t feel greasy at all, which is a big relief because I hate creams that leave a sticky mess everywhere. After a few hours, the skin still felt smooth and comfortable, like it had soaked in properly without just sitting on top. It was a nice change from some of the thicker creams that feel like they never dry. What I noticed most was how calm my baby seemed after using it. Usually, there’s lots of scratching at night, but this helped settle that down. The natural oat smell was gentle and didn’t bother me or the baby. I liked that it was simple to use, just one pump and done, without all the faff of rubbing in thick layers.I felt relieved to finally find something gentle that actually seemed to work without making a mess.

Gentle and soothing effect.
This lotion does an effective job at helping to soothe my dry and damaged skin; it leaves it feeling hydrated, smooth, and soft. It’s advertised for babies, but I can’t see why it can’t be used for all ages if a gentle moisturiser is needed – as it works wonderfully on me and my toddler too.I’ve not noticed any irritation, redness, or itchiness from either of us, and I like that it’s mostly scent-free, so it’s ideal for people with sensitivity to strong chemicals.Personally, I’d never heard of this brand before, but I would order this again.

Gentle moisturising cream
Our GP recommended the Oilatium bath additive for a young baby with eczema so this is a great moisturising cream that compliments the range. It’s a smaller bottle and with eczema the skin needs to be moisturised twice a day at a minimum so the whole bottle will be used up quickly for older babies and toddlers. Soaks into the skin without leaving sticky residue, not heavily scented and hydrates skin. Would recommend for well maintained eczema prone skin.
