Kmina shower wheelchair
I would give this chair a 3 to 4 stars. If you need a chair to use for toileting, it should hit the mark. If you only need it for shower duty, like me, it's got some limitations. Despite some reviews, it wasn't that hard to put together even sitting in a wheelchair as I was. It's a solid build and is great for allowing me to independently roll around. Now, the limitations (and some of these are me things, not necessarily a problem specific to the chair). I'm 6 feet tall and not super wide. I can't lift my legs. It's hard to sit on this chair for more than 15 or 20 min, which just gets me through a shower because the seat and backing are hard. The seat is high and my feet just partially hit the ground. My affliction includes spasms so not being able to be squarely seated is a problem and my feet are too sensitive to use the foot plates. I don't use these and it leaves an open hole where you plant them. A hole for water to get in. I wish there were caps for these holes for those of us not using the footplate. The other big thing that many have mentioned is center plug to the seat. It doesn't fit in tightly so if I shift around at all getting in or out or during the shower (which is a likelihood given that I can't maneuver my legs) it will fall out. I've had a couple times where my upper leg gets caught in the open hole leading me to either fight through the pain or restart the entire shower process. This limitation was the one thing that made me seriously consider a return. I'm wondering if I can drill a bar into the underside that would help that plug piece from falling through and allow me to shift around as needed or maybe Kmina could create something (hint, hint)So, good chair, not great, just nothing else on the market to compete.

Cannot get this out of the shower. No way to raise the front over 3/4” lip
I must change my original review. The base lip was not as tall as expected. I must lift his front wheels by the foot pedals to get the chair started out of the shower; however, it is light weight and manageable.Because of the missing back foot aid, I deducted one star.If they can help me with a seat with a smaller hole, I would give them a 4 star.I need a seat with a smaller hole. At present he fears falling through especially when soapy. Hoping the company will see this a reach out. The chair is pretty nice otherwise. I dreaded the chair bringing lots of water out and that is not so bad. Not sure how.Original review. - There are no foot pedals for the caregiver to help lift the front wheels so we can get into the shower. Without that, I cannot lift him over the 3/4” lip of the shower pan. If you have a flat floor, it would be a nice chair. I am hoping the company has something to add to this.

Amazing buy
I am paraplegic and this chair was a game changer for me! Easy to assemble, I assembled it completely by myself. It is sturdy, the breaks are very strong, the chair itself is very functional, fits good in roll in shower, and undoubtedly money well spent!

A design defect IMO
The chair has no guards on the seat to keep your hips from hitting the wheels. I am close to the weight limit but not over it but I had to return it because I couldn't roll it. It did assemble well but keep the box just in case. If you have a smallish backside it might work for you. It is a bit of a wider seat though so getting through doorways and bath stalls could be an issue.

Buyer Be Ware!
There are several problems with this product. First of all, this chair is huge. It would not fit in my accessible shower. A third of the item stuck out. The engineering is especially poor. The brake is funky and difficult to adjust. The instructions are poorly written, with confusing instructions (written by a non-English author). But perhaps most disturbing, the instructions regarding returning this product simply does not work. After initiating the refund sequence, I was told that a return label would be sent in three to five business days. It's now been over a week - no contact from the seller. I called Amazon. I was told that there is no need to return this item. Bad deal. I now have this huge box with chair wheelchair inside. Does anyone know what to do with a huge box of wheelchair parts? I called around to various closets and medical loan closets. Seems that no one is interested in picking up this monster. I, being a person with a disability, cannot load it up and tote it around. Buyer beware, or you too might end up with a bow full of wheelchair parts that no one wants.
