Small but big on sound
It may be small and cute but it delivers: Great sound!! Easy to use, no special or confusing directions, just drop in your battery and it’s good to go. And, you can take it with you to listen to the music you like . What’s there not to love?

Don't buy this CD player.
If you play music every day this cd player will not hold up! We have had ours approximately four months and it no longer works properly. The sound quality is okay when it plays.

Great that they are still making CD players.
It's a nice, compact CD player with radio and remote. Sound is good. I enjoy listening to my CD's on it.

Sound lacks depth
Very AM radio sounding. I didn’t realize it was so small. A better speaker in the unit could have made it better.

Returned after 15 seconds of playing disc.
Horrible sound, played a disc and within 15 seconds was on Amazon initiating a return. Would not recommend this player if sound is a factor for you. Disappointed as I need a portable CD player. Size was perfect, and very portable, but the sound quality sucked.

Satisfactory Unit
The CD player works smoothly without background noise. The loading is fine, considering the top loading. The FM radio is easy to program and tunes well. All the controls are on the top front and work with a light touch. The sound is as good as can be expected in such a compact unit.I’m OK paying a little more for this unit, considering it’s big improvement in sound and functionality over another comparable unit I tried.

Disappointment isn't fatal.
It's adequate. It's better than nothing. I've been disappointed in the overall sound quality and performance of the unit. I listen to a lot of live recordings where the songs segue directly into each other, and this machine can't wrap its primitive brain around that, so it cuts off frequently during the transitions. Not ideal. It also has failed to play a couple of other non-defective discs for reasons that elude me. I don't like to shop at Amazon because it's my opinion that I need my money more than Jeff Bezos does, and this unfortunate experience did nothing to alter that perception.
