A little extra step but worth it
I had to have an electrician install a dedicated 20 amp outlet but once that was done, everything was perfection. Love the treadmill!

Terrible company that won't stand by their product
We bought a club series treadmill 18 months ago. Out of nowhere, the console stopped working. A tech guy came out and said we need a new console. We try to order one through Life Fitness. They first try to lie to us and say our console is out of warranty(its current warranty for consoles is 3 years and the old policy pre 2023 was 2 years so we are definitely still covered). Then they tell us that our console has been discontinued but we need to wait for a refurbished console. After some more lies, they finally tell us that they do not have any broken consoles to refurbish so we have to wait for someone's console to break for them to refurbish and they hope that will happen within 15 weeks. Then that person will not have a console so this is a fraudulent policy and they have no policy in place to uphold their warranty. We asked them to give us a different model console and they said we would have to pay for that. So we will be without a treadmill for another 4 months at least while they hope for us to go away or someone else's product breaks or pay thousands of more dollars for a new console. A Manager spoke with us on the phone and said there was nothing more he can do. A terrible company that would not help us at all when their product broke 20 years earlier than it is supposed to.

No standby, display on 24/7
This treadmill has a major flaw. There is no standby mode. The display is on all the time, 24/7. This is really annoying with the lights for the different workout types flashing and words scrolling across the screen to select a workout. The only way to turn the display off is to unplug the machine or get down on the floor to throw the on/off switch under the front base of the treadmill. I'm also concerned that the display will eventually burn out if it is left on 24/7.Otherwise, the quality and operation are acceptable. I purchased this treadmill because of the long arm rails. I'm using the treadmill for rehab and needed the long arm rails to hold on to for stability. However, I wish I knew about the no "standby" feature. Event the less expensive Life fitness treadmills have a standby mode.

I've had this since May 2008 (15 years) and it's still going strong.
I bought this after using one at a Residence Inn (was there for 3 months after our home flooded). I have never had this treadmill serviced (I probably should do it), but have regularly vacuumed on top and under it—and the visible vents, and wiped it down. I did have to adjust the belly at one point because it had slipped a little bit to one side, but it has been like the Energizer Bunny, otherwise. Addendum: I bought this from a local treadmill/exercise equipment retail store, not from Amazon.

Engineer comment on all the time
Strong sturdy! And yes it has a power switch to turn off by the motor. You just have to bend down!
