Pretty Basic Netbook
I bought this little netbook as a backup in case my current laptop stopped working out of the blue. I had a big scare where my main computer wouldn't turn on (I just had to take the battery in and out to fix it) but I decided to invest in a small backup just in case.I did buy this netbook used, but holy snap you can't really beat the price depending on what you plan on using it for in the future. I write for a living, so I just needed the bare necessities for my work. I did buy one that had microsoft office already installed on it (you can check in the sellers, they usually include the information if it's installed on there) and considering how expensive those programs are, I figured it was a good deal below $100.The surface of the netbook is rubberized, and it's a lot heavier than I expected it to be. However, this really isn't a drawback for me since I do like to know if I actually have the small device with me versus leaving it behind in some far off corner of my room. One of other cool aspects is the netbook folds up towards the user instead of being flat. I prefer to type at an angle since it's easier on my wrists which is another huge plus for me. Other reviewers have already stated the netbook can't run HD video, which is true, but youtube still looks pretty decent on it if you're not a huge fan of graphics. The only reason I'm giving this device four stars instead of five is because when you get down to it, it's pretty basic. I've run youtube, skype, and surfed the internet with this little guy without a hitch. Some sites like Cracked.com or certain parts of reddit won't load for a while, but it's not a huge necessity on my part. The keyboard is probably the best feature since they're nice and wide and have a nice click to them when pressing down. I miss mechanical keyboard, and considering I spend the majority of my day typing this makes work much easier for me.If you have to type a lot of papers, or just want something basic that's similar to a tablet, but comes with an actual keyboard that you can do your work on, this is the best choice. It's simple, cheap, and above all it's a netbook. It's adorable and I love it.

***** I Fell In Love Even Though.... ******
I just got my little laptop on Saturday, 9/10/16, and already I am in love with it, despite not getting the correct system that was advertised in the listing! I was supposed to have received a computer with 2 GBs of RAM, as well as a 250GB hard drive. The system I have been playing on for a few days has only 1GBs of RAM, and an 80 GB hard drive. I have contacted the seller, and they are working to try and get things right, and at this point I have no need to worry about that. Like I said, however, I was already in love even when I found this information out! The first thing I fell in love with was the size. It was perfect. I had wanted something a little on the smaller side, and this one did not disappoint! It is also very lightweight as well, one thing I was not expecting from the pictures or even when I saw it in person for the first time. It has a very rugged look to it, and that is the 2nd thing I fell in love with. The exterior has this rubbery coating, which makes it feel like it could really take a beating if it had to. I also like that because I am not the sturdiest person on the planet, I can be a clutz, so this seemed perfect for me to be able to hold onto it very well. Straight out of the box, I turned it on, and it fired right up, ready to go. This is before I even discovered the memory or extra hard drive that I was missing. And really, because this machine I think can run on anything almost, I probably would not have discovered them until my Mom pointed it out to me! So, if you are wondering whether or not this computer is up to the challenge, I can say that yes, even with only 1GB of RAM and an 80 gb hard drive, it did not disappoint me at all! Of course, I want what I paid for, so I WILL be getting the extra RAM and a new hard drive, but I just had to come and sing some praises for this little guy. It has exceeded my expectations 100%!! I will have to come back and do an updated review once I get the little guy all upgraded and see what it can really do! LOL... To be continued I suppose......

Best netbook on the market
Best netbook on the market! Solid, rugged and inexpensive. I'm a frequent traveler and the size of this netbook (10" screen) allows me to keep it in my travel bag rather than pull it out every time at the airport security. It's a thick netbook, but that's what helps make it solid. It's not for gamers. It's a great computer for email, websurfing, webshopping and such. The keyboard is large for a netbook and I love it 10X more than my first netbook ASUS EEE PC, again, used for traveling. Battery life is good; about 3 hours of use or all day just sitting closed up, but on.My first Latitude 2120 (no camera) was bought used last February for about $100. Not bad for a computer that was once priced at over $600.After several months of heavy usage, the connection to the screen began to wear where I'd have to jostle it to get it to light up. I loved the computer so much not only did I buy a second, but because these are used machines and no longer made by Dell, I bought two.Now using the second one. On this one, the keyboard has a weak-spot in the top middle and is more sensitive to fat palms touching the touchpad. I use a wireless mouse, so maybe I should just turn off the computer touchpad.

Great as a writing computer.
I should mention that I got this computer strictly for writing, and as a writing laptop I absolutely love it.It's smaller than I had imagined (my laptops are usually... "average" in size, and I would think of this as a "notebook"... which I think of like a miniature laptop), but the small size has proven to be a benefit because it means that I can easily take it with me just about anywhere and it doesn't burden me... I can even carry it on one hand without straining my wrist if I need to pick it up and move to another room.It does not have a place for a CD (which is good for me, because it would tempt me to use it for things other than writing). My only complaint would be that the programs it has for writing don't have as many editing features as I am used to (at least I haven't been able to find the spell check, or how to change my page layout, etc).

Plain and simple
Perfect for simple functions. I loaded office 2016 no problem.Sturdy power cable and I like the rubberized coating on the outer shell.

Solid choice for a basic laptop
Does exactly what itβs supposed to do. Just fast enough for basic every day use. Good laptop for school since itβs got great battery life. Keyboard can be a little awkward to type on
