Wellco Men's Desert Waterproof 600G Insulated Steel Toe Boot

These boots are wonderfully comfortable, I'm so glad to finally find some Sage boots for my uniform that are comfortable. However, the size table on this is highly inaccurate. I used the sizing chart b/c I find men's boots are better but the sizing was highly off. For example, I ordered a 7.5 because it said the heel to toe measurement was 9-some inches. That's about the size of my non-steel toe Women's 6 boot. However, they were way too big and I ended up returning them for a Men's 5 and they fit perfectly and are about 3 inches shorter than the listed "heel to toe" measurements. But, of course, when you find a comfortable boot, they discontinue it - which they have done in this case so maybe it doesn't matter.

I am sorry I can not give a review at this time as the day after we received them my husband as been in hospital very sick and still is not back to work..' Now that my husband has wore these boots for a while I can give a real review... Best boots we have ever bought and we have bought a lot. Always spent top dollar for loggers. Never lasted him a year and at over 300.00 a pair it got old fast. He was ready to just go to Dept. Store and buy cheapo's when I found these, we did have to return them for a bigger size so I do believe they may run a bit small. We would but these again for sure.. My husband works very hard and is very hard on his boots. He used to work for Town as road foreman so his boots were in road salt, sand, dirt, water, grease, you name it. Now he works a rock crusher and is in everything except road salt, but still walks in it,... I give these boots a 5 plus and very happy to of found them. Going to order another pair soon as we don't want something to happen and we can't get them anymore..

The media could not be loaded.  This is the worst purchase Ive ever gotten! This was a gift for our uncle in the Philippines! And when I gave it to him, it fell apart! The sole of the boots fell and crumbled! This is the worst purchase ever!EDIT: sent a message to the seller. Waiting for them to get back to me and see what they will do about this.

I purchased a pair of Wellco boots earlier this year, I love them but they were for warm weather and not water proof so I decided to buy a pair of new boots for the cold winter coming up and purchased these.My Job requires that I wear steel toe boots and for the last 15 years I have never found a boot that I liked and would buy again, until now. Both pairs of the Wellco boots that I own are by far the best I have ever had, they are both comfortable out of the box and all day long. Other boots would hurt the arch in my feet, but these don't. This pair is warm but not too warm, perfect actually and the warm weather pair is perfect in the summer.I only wish that these had the zipper on the side like the summer pair have, it makes for putting them on and taking them off very easy! Not only that, but the zipper on the other pair I have has lasted for about 8 months with no signs of failing or coming apart, the same can't be said for another brand I tried.I will be sticking with Wellco!

I was very hesitant at first in ordering these boots not really knowing the how popular Wellco's brand name and style's would be for my feet considering I always have bought Macks or Timberland's. When I received these and put them on they really felt comfortable. I wore them to work and being on concrete floor's all night for 9 hours they were still as comfortable as when I first put them on. I am so satisfied with these I am going to buy a pair without safety-toes and wear them as normal wear. I would suggest these to my friends, family and anyone interest in how well Wellco's boots are.Thanks Wellco for making a great pair of working boots.Taz

I bought these years ago and they're still in great shape!!!!

I wore Redwings for over 20 years and now they are low grade made in china crap so I tried a pair of these. By far the best boot I have ever had and MADE IN USA. Well worth the money. I am very hard on boots. I work for a Water company and have had these submerged in water and they did not leak.
