Avoid it, too expensive
It is too expensive. It is a good little item but can be very temperamental, the flint isn't not good and doesn't chuck off enough sparks. BUT, with zippo flints (made in Austria), it is a lot better. The black o-ring seal is good enough, so the fuel will stay inside and will not leak. It is not windproof, but it's better than most cheap lighters. It is heavy (24 g) but small. The finish does not stay shinny for long, as the keys scratch it.Conclusion: buy a Chinese lighter (here is an example KOTiger Outdoor Camping Survival Waterproof Cigarette Flint Fire Key Chain Lighter Tool (Silver), they all look the same), get zippo flints, that are made in Austria (Zippo Flints - Carded 2406N-15) and you will have a better lighter than this one, at a lower price. For this price you can buy several pocket lighters look and do the same, and probably everything is made in China.

I just to love to keep one with me all the time
NIice EDC keychain lighter, I just to love to keep one with me all the time. It can save the day when needed.Regarding the leaking issues many people experienced, I have done a little investigation and noticed that the original cotton is not enough to fill the round bottom space, and hence, it is very easy to overfill and result in the leaking. I have put an extra cotton ball underneath and all problems are solved perfectly.

Broken before first use
This is a brilliant idea and just what I was looking for. It's perfect keyring size and looks good. I filled it successfully and tested it out and it worked well, the base fit securely to the bottom and there was no leakage. A couple of weeks later I needed to use it but when I unscrewed the top I got covered in lighter fluid as the top had come adrift from the base. For some reason the top will not stay in the base at all now, it was a tight fit initially but is now so loose it won't even stay in. I can't see anything obviously wrong but it renders it useless. A pity as I really liked it.UpdateI've since spoken to a friend who has one and discovered mine has been faulty since I got it. When opened, the remaining wick should be encased in a cylinder with cotton wool. When I opened mine the wick wasn't enclosed and the cylinder is stuck inside the outer casing.

Look no further for a tiny backup lighter!!
I have had this on my keychain for a while now and it is no longer silver. All the paint chipped off pretty quick but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. In fact I feel it looks better! I love this tiny lighter. I barely use it at all but it is a last resort thing and when I do use it I am always surprised! Five stars all the way and if it ever does break (I've had mine for years now!) I will replace it instantly with the exact same design! It also holds the fuel for an age! Not like flip ones that dry out quite easily.

Compact and functional
Looking for a small, refillable lighter as a backup for longer trips but not something as heavy as a Zippo or equivalent and bit more sturdy than a disposable Bic. So far, seems to be a good choice: lights easily and reliably, reasonably wind-proof and very simple to use and to refill. Small but strong flame and not so small that it would be hard to use with wet, cold hands or if using thin gloves - heavy, winter-weight mitts or gloves might be trickier of course. Pretty sturdy construction and close-fitting seal, so no leakage so far. A lot cheaper than, say, equivalent models made by County Comm and, as far as I can see, just as good performance. Delivery was very speedy, so would purchase again.

This thing is brilliant
I got this at Christmas and immediately fuelled it up. I keep it for emergencies attached to my keys and it still works in March. The seal is excellent so you won't get the dreaded leg itch (Zippo users, you know what I mean!). Not 100% convinced on the windproof level but it's better than most cheap lighters. It's small. It's at home on a keyring. It's brilliant!

Well made
Solidly built. Small enough to fit on a keychain, and still works perfectly well. The construction is tight enough that the inner part won't come out unless you actively want it to. It closes to be airtight, so fuel won't leak out over time, but that means you get a strong whiff of petrol every time you take it out. Very useful and looks great.

This is a great little lighter
On first impressions this is an AMAZING little lighter. First thing its solid like a bullet, it has a nice rubber ring sealing the two halves preventing the fuel evaporating. It lights first time and has a decent flame, this is all just first impressions. I will review again after using for a while
