xToolBlack Laser Marking Spray 2.0, 8.5 oz - Advanced High Contrast Formula for CO2, Fiber & Diode Laser Engravers - New & Improved Version

I run a laser engraving and cutting business and have used this spray on both metal and plastic with excellent results. It’s very easy to apply — just make sure to use it outside or in a well-ventilated area, as the fumes are strong.One thing to note is that while it's called a “black” laser marking spray, it actually sprays out with a yellow tint. That said, the final engraved marks come out black, crisp, and clean, exactly as expected.It doesn’t degrade the quality of the materials I’m engraving on, and it’s been surprisingly long-lasting — I’ve been using the same can for a couple of months across multiple projects, and there’s still plenty left. Definitely worth the investment for anyone doing precision laser work.

Works awesome on glass when using a diode laser. Made amazing etchings on the glasses I was engraving. Washed off really easily with just a little water. Easy to use if you follow the instructions just spray an even coat on the part youre engraving and let it sit for 10-30 mins and it is ready to engrave your parts.

Used it on brass plates and it works great. Did it with my Xtool F1, followed the instructions and it could not have come out any nicer

Don't bother with this garbage. I was hoping it would make my CO2 laser engravings darker like usual marking sprays on wood, but it didn't. It just left a chalky light green residue that did not darken the letters at all. Plus, the instructions say to remove it with water, but it still leaves the chalky residue inside of the engraving. DO NOT BUY!!!Not sure if it works better on metal than wood though. I just know 100% that if you want a darker engraving on wood, look elsewhere (like using the Borax method).

This spray is amazing. Goes on and dries quick. Washed off with ease. Leaves a great finish on what you are engraving

UPDATED REVIEW:Per customer service with XTool, the product sprays a light green/gray and will mark product Black when engravedDefective product. Sprayed light green chalk paint and not black laser marking paint.
