A Great Reference
This book is a handy reference to keep nearby for the beginner to fresh milled flour and sourdough. Along with a lot of recipes, there are instructions on the different types of berries and how to use them.

Grain mill to healthier bread
The book covered how the different flours will react in sourdough mode. I also liked the hydration review which is helpful. All the recipes sound great and can’t wait to try them. I don’t have a mill yet but wanted this book to get me started.

This book unlocks the mystery of how to grind my own grains for sourdough. I found it very useful. Clear and concise.

Things to Consider
Still in the middle of my first recipes. However, I'm disappointed that the types of weights are different within each recipe unlike my last sour dough cook book which was all in grams. I like to weigh my ingredients and with this cookbook I have to keep switching back and forth with the weights. Also, my oven has degree option in 25 degree options. The recipes in this book has varying degree such at 430,465,480, etc.

Love the recipe pages. The first half of he book is education which is great too but the recipes are great and love the pictures

I’m just starting the freshly milled wheat journey and so far this book seems very helpful for adapting sourdough to this new type of flour.

Newbie Success!
This is my third sourdough loaf, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Before getting this book I threw away my first loaf and struggled blindly with my second. Then this book arrived and suddenly I have a guide! My mill has not yet arrived so I’m only using store-bought flour for now. This is the first recipe in the book, Classic White Sourdough Bread—but I made it half white and half whole wheat. Great book! It’s more information than I can grasp at first glance, but I’ll grow into it. In the meantime, the recipes are great!
