No metal stamp on them
My first impression is wow this is really heavy. I definitely feel like I'm officially adulting to have a large set of silverware. I did buy a few sets when we moved into this house. Nothing is quite right. You have to have a good balance in the handle...hard to explain, but these do feel heavy. My Husband questioned whether or not they were plated. He pointed out that there is sort of a wave of like pattern on one of the forks where it looks like it might've been dipped in something. There is no stamp on them at all. I expected there to be some sort of a stamp or seal in it to show that they are stainless steel like the box claims so we got out our metal tester and it did pass when we tested it for steel. The tester itself is also new to us so I believe we did it the right way. If you have a large family or guests that come over and want a cohesive look this is a nice set to have.

Gorgeous and heavy-duty
My last flatware set is 30 years old, and was a wedding present. It's scratched, bent and missing several pieces. This set didn't have pictures except for the knives, but they looked pretty, so I took a chance. Man, was I blown off my feet. This set is gorgeous and really heavy duty. I hope my pictures do it justice. It's 12 5-piece place settings and then 12 steak knives. There are no serving pieces. My husband had to life the box it arrived in. Classy looking enough for dinner party, but strong enough for the grandkids. The weight will keep them from accidently being thrown away. This is a super bargain and a fantastic gift. Click on the sellers link on Amazon page and look at their other patterns, which are all beautiful. This is made in China so I'd hurry if you want this.

Nice quality, but not for us
These were very nice quality, however, HUGE. Couldn't fit them into my dishwasher slots as well as my silverware holder. Traded out for a different set.

High quality set
This is an extremely nice and very high quality set. This silverware set is superbly made, heavy duty and just stunningly shiny and beautiful. We were like little kids opening up all of the individually wrapped pieces like it was Christmas. We were in awe the entire time and excited to replace our old set with something so nice. It is a very heavy set -- each piece is solid. This came with a setting for 12 -- which includes steak knives!!!We washed them in the dishwasher immediately and they washed very well. They look still awesome after the first washing. We have been impressed with this set and very proud of it. Definitely recommend.

Service for eight.
This silverware set has enough stainless-steel utensils to accommodate eight at the dinner table. The individual pieces are sturdy and have a simple design that will work well for either everyday meals or formal dinners. I think the spoons may be a little large, but that is my opinion, others may like that. One unique feature that I do like is that this set comes with steak knives that have the same design as the other pieces. Overall, this is a quality set of flatware that looks good and is dishwasher safe.

Time To Upgrade
I did my research on flatware before ordering. 18/10 refers to the fact that it is crafted with 18% chromium and 10% nickel. If you're looking at flatware and see the wide array of prices, chances are it has to do with the quality. 18/10 is the best and it goes down from there 18/8, 18/0, etc. The higher cost means it is less susceptible to corrosion and if you're buying flatware, you want the best. This set is incredible. Looks great, and you have serving for 12, which is super helpful. Upgrade your silverware, this will more than pay for itself. Heavier feeling and will last a long time.
