I just love these! I am a great fan of Birkenstock’s and thought that I would give these a try as the colour was so vibrant and the price was good as well. A little wary of the fact that they were totally plastic(?) and not the usual cork and leather, however I need not have worried and was really surprised how light and comfortable they were. The first time I wore them I walked about 5 miles with no problem at all, no rubbing or chaffing plus they still provided me with a good level of foot support. I took note of the reviews regarding sizing and ordered half a size down to my usual Birkenstock’s which is 1 full size down from my normal shoes. Altogether a great purchase and am now thinking about a pink pair.

So far I have only tried these on as unfortunately the weather turned after I received them. However, I am extremely happy with the fit and how comfortable they feel walking around the house. I bought them and can imagine they would be an extremely practical sandal for holidays - being able to walk around during the day, on the beach and even in the evening - can't wait to try this out.

I have several pairs of Birkenstock's so I knew what I was in for. I wear a 36 in Birkies, as opposed to my usual 38 - much smaller. That size fits my foot perfectly; wraps round it and supports my arches, cups my heels and provides a non-slip jumping off point for my toes. My arthritic feet are a bit of a write-off - everything hurts and is a funny shape, but in Birkies they feel almost normal. I use Birkies as slippers all year round (with socks, to my shame), as well as sandals in summer. They're just that comfortable.This pair is very simple in design; with two straps to adjust you can fit your feet well, regardless of bunions, socks etc. The leather is flexible and doesn't rub. The colour is neutral and goes with most things. If I could afford it, I'd buy every colour! Everyone should have a pair of Birkies in their wardrobe and this is a good starter pair.

My wife got these and said... "These are fabulous - lightweight, perfect fit (with Birkenstock shoes I go down one from my normal size), super comfortable, great metallic copper colour (but not too metallic), waterproof for beach-wear, and all that for a reasonable price! Even without Prime, the sandals arrived the very next day. All-round pleased, couldn't ask for more."

Needed some sandals that I could easily slip into without them too easily slipping off. The inner sole moulding ensured this perfectly. Not quite the comfort I expected but maybe that improves with use. On advice of Others and after reading reviews I ordered one European size down from 42 to 41 and they fit well. I love the colour, taupe metallic.

After days of searching I found these sandals described as shoe width 'large' when I clicked on the size I wanted and was sent to a new page, the sandals were slightly dearer but I decided to buy. The sandals arrived and they are a very snug fit. I had expected them to be too wide as my other Birkenstock's are a regular fit, so I was glad that I had ordered the wide sandals. A few days later discovered that they are in fact a 'narrow' fit. I guess I should have checked out the new page more thoroughly and I may have spotted that they were in fact a narrow fit. I think that the width should be in the drop down menu with the shoe size and not hidden in the incorrect text, they were also described as 100% leather??? I would expect this from eBay, but not Amazon.If I have noticed that I have been sent a narrow fitting sandal before I worn the sandals I would have been able to return them, now I can only hopethat when my feet swell in the summer that I will still be able to wear them without them pinching my feet.

I like Birkenstock’s purely for the fact that they have some arch support and are always very comfortable. These were a real bargain- great price, great design and great quality as you should expect from Birkenstock’s.
