its pretty much a disclaimer to prevent lawsuits. it would take a freak freak accident for any fire to be caused by this blanket and oxygen is an accelerant not flammable. RE: Oxygen is not flammable, but it can cause other materials that burn to ignite more easily and to burn far more rapidly. The result is that a fire involving oxygen can appear explosive-like.

Q: Can you use this without the vibration feature? Just heat. Can you turn the vibration off but not the heat?
