2005 mini cooper shock assembly
The media could not be loaded. The shock assembly was easy to install, and the spring's firmness was great. I took the car for a drive, and the shocks' performance was great; they came at the right height and size. They fit the Mini Cooper (2005) perfectly. Thanks guys

So Far, So Good (I think?)
The good: I've only installed the front two on my 2003 Grand Cherokee Laredo, but they seem to be decent quality. I haven't had them on long enough to adequately measure the performance of the shocks, but so far, so good. They're decently stiff, but not too stiff that it's a crazy bumpy ride. They've definitely passed the "shake test" in the driveway and a bit of road driving. No noise when compressing at all. They're easy to install. The bad: they come with the bushings and nuts for the shock tower, but do NOT come with the lower hardware, so DO NOT throw the old nuts and bolts away (you'll have to reuse them). The shocks that I have received, specifically for my 2003 Grand Cherokee Laredo, have a part number that doesn't seem to match ANY of the parts on the list and has quite a bit of wiggle room on either side of the lower mount (picture included). I had to sandwich the new upper bushing underneath the old upper bushing, because the threads didn't extend down far enough to compress it properly.I'll update again once I have the rears installed and I've driven around for a little bit. I'm giving them 3 stars for the moment, ONLY because I still need to install the rears and I have a sneaking suspicion they may be for an older model Jeep.

Uhhh I like em
Works pretty well. The installation isn’t bad just depends on the car. The car rides pretty good after installing them. They fit decent. Not bad price.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The fronts fit perfectly. However, on the rear shocks I had to shave down the sides on the lower bushings to get them to fit. Not a horrible drawback but a drawback nonetheless. If I didn't have the tools to shave down the sides, they would not have fit and I can only imagine how annoying it would be for someone who didn't have the tools necessary. As for the ride quality, I only got to test drive it for a few blocks. It does ride noticeably smoother over speed bumps compared to my old worn out shocks. For essentially $16.25 per shock, I really can't complain or expect much. Not sure how long they'll last but they're better than nothing and will at least get me by until I decide to upgrade to something better. I would recommend these shocks to anyone willing to do the job again if they're not satisfied with the results. I would not recommend this to someone who is expecting to only have to do this once.If I could give a 3.5 star rating I would. I think 3 stars is fair enough. 4 would be too high due to having to "make them fit"
