Sparks: Long Last Bright Hair Color, Purple Passion, 3 oz (2 Pack)

I've only ever used the purple and I love it. Unlike other hair dye, this stuff stays forever. Like other hair dye, expect to see a lot come out in the shower and on your towel for the first ten or so washes.Will dye Virgin hair, but only for a handful of washes. My base hair is an ombre from dark brown (natural hair) to totally stripped white. After the first application and two or three washes I have a full head of dark purple hair. With continued washing the dye completely removes from the unbleached hair and starts to lighten everywhere else. Eventually it becomes lavender. I now have a natural to light purple ombre and I love it. I've repeated this process several times and I always get the same results. The best part is, I can wait six months before redying. If you're okay with dye that will stain your bleached hair forever (it literally gets to a point that it will not wash out at all) this is a great product for you.

This product right here us the BEST!! I dont like the way the colors fade on blonde so I leave my hair brown I sometimes will fade it a little. I condition The day before well Then color the next. I leave the color in for 2-3 hours rinse with cool water the cooler the better I DO NOT wash it for 24 hours. The best way to lighten or mix colors is with the clear that sparks also has. I love mixing and tinting the pink with purple and lightening the blue and green fading them in the hair!!

Use in stainless steel sink if possible, and USE GLOVES. doesnt need develpor, has lasted a month so far, some fading, but not enough to REALLY complain about. doesnt stink, stains even unbleached hair. I have dark brown and it turned it almost black for a month and then faded to a brown with purple tint. Great stuff will be ordering again

First off let me state that I have ordered Sparks hair dye multiple times in the past and never had an issue. Second let me state that I have never ordered this particular color up until this point so I don't know if this is a bad batch issue or a this color issue. I dyed my hair with this color yesterday. I have 2 major concerns . 1 as you can see by the picture my bathtub is now stained purple. Again this has never happened before but this dye was SUPER pigmented . I have dark brown hair naturally and this color soaked my hair in purple which is good-but also has some draw backs. One the bathtub I now have to bleach. Two- my hair was WEIGHED down today. It was like I never washed this stuff out. My hair is naturally wavy and I normally wear my hair curly- it was so weighed down my hair wouldn't even curl in the slightest . Then I sweated purple today. All day. Any slight bit of sweat today and it was dripping bright purple . I normally wait a few days after I dye my hair to shampoo it but I had to shampoo it 4 times just to get some of the heaviness lifted. Bonus is my hair is still very very purple. However we will see what it's like tomorrow . Again- I dye my hair with SPARKS regularly and have never ever had any of these issues-so I don't know if it is just this color or a bad batch but beware

The color came out beautiful. My hair was a very light brown so the end result was different from the color sample shown when purchasing. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the way the color is still leaking out after two weeks. It's kind of an inconvenience. I do not shampoo my hair every time I shower but I shower everyday & the color still gets everywhere. It still dyes my tub and my body. This stuff is NO JOKE!! Be very careful where you dye your hair when using this product cuz it stains everything. Please don't skip on rubbing coconut oil on the skin around your hairline before using. I did & it took days of scrubbing with different things to try & get my skin back to a normal color. You should probably use a dark-colored towel for a few weeks cuz the color does not wash out of the towels, pick up any random strands of hair in the tub or on the floor cuz the dye leaks out of the strands and stains surfaces, wear gloves when handling wet hair if you have light colored nail polish cuz the dye will change your nail color, buy a good bleach cleaner cuz you will have to clean your tub each time you shower & this isn't just for the first day you dye your hair, this is for a few weeks or until the color stops running. However, even though the color runs like crazy still, my hair color has not lightened. Im sure theres more but if I can think of any thing else to warn you about, I'll update. Like I said, I am very satisfied with the color of my hair just not happy with the way the color still bleeds out. Sorry about the grainy picture. The color is beautiful and colored my daughter's naturally dark blonde hair without bleaching first.But this product bleeds and stains SO MUCH!It did color well. And it lasted for months! But did stain everything it came in contact with!

It works very well on hair, but it stained my tub really really badly. Not worth the scrubbing.

LOVE this brand. I wash my hair every day, and I'm not inclined to take cold showers in the winter. This color lasted 9 weeks before it needed to be recolored. I tried every other brand, and nothing lasted more than 3 weeks.This will stain the hell out of your hands and shower for about 4 washes. After that, the color stops running entirely and you're left with no maintenance hair for 2 months. I don't know why every salon isn't using Sparks.
