the sellers sent me a defective motor in this tub but quickly sent a replacement since then it has worked great .this is a great tub in 4 of 6 seats and in 2 seats it only has 1 jet that blows up your butt {great for company you dont like } aaanyway this has been a great tub for the price and seems to jump my electric bill about 70 bucks {ca} it keeps its temp well and seems to do its job also the rainbow under water light show is nice

I'm pretty disappointed with this unit. I thought "heck, a hot tub is a hot tub". I was wrong. Near as I can tell my electric bill has jumped as much as 100 bucks a month. I live in Michigan and only run it in the winter. Yuck to sitting in 100+ degree water in a Michigan muggy summer. And btw I did own a more expensive tub in a previous home in Michigan. I don't remember the electric bill budging. The EConomy setting struggles to keep the tub at 100 without longer, more expensive cycle times. The controls are awkward and unintuitive. The jets are weak... In short get a different tub. In fact I'm so disappointed I'm thinking of selling to a "bigger fool" on Craig's list and replacing it altogether.
